Oh yeah,on a different note, after last weekend I can seriously recommend Goteborg as a city if any of you dudes are looking for somewhere different to party.
KJC , you should go to Stockholm instead next time. Up there with my all time favo cities.
Sodermalm and Gamla Stan areas are fabulous for partying. Just wish I’m not tied up next time next time I’m over as the women over there are unbelievable.

Been to Stockholm as well - goes without saying that it is brill there, just feel that Goteborg is a hidden Gem.
Bit more compact than Stockholm.
Anyways, without straying off topic too much…
Of course they are loaded ;)

KJC, come and visit Tampere too as Ryan air flies straight from Dublin to our town. We have lots of great musicpubs and clubs here too (Vasta Virta, Inferno, Rusty Angel etc…)
In the summertime this place is really wonderful:)and in winter too, now as we have the snow again on the ground:)
Cuchulain has right about Stockholm; it´s the best town of Sweden. Been to Göteborg a couple of times but didn´t find it as “attractive” as the capital city of the swedes.
Here in Scandinavia people talk about the “Göteborg scene” as there comes a lot of metal bands from that town.

@Knoxville - Deliberately winding someone up and upsetting them, regardless of what language you use to do so, I consider to be a breach of the guidelines. Hence the entire, arse-grindingly boring, altercation between yourself and Colin was deleted. I thought I made that clear in the email, apologies if that wasn’t the case.
You might also note that the only times you’ve signed off with ‘love’ in this thread, is in your posts addressed to Colin. It’s no wonder he’s paranoid.
1.) In my numerous threads throughout the board I have signed off with “Love” to many people. That is clear as day to anyone who wants to check my posts.
I dont see people complaining that intension behind my “Love Thread” is perverse!
2) The word “love” maybe construed as sarcastic in my sign off, but perverse?
I dare anyone to try give me any perverse conatation that can be construed from it (and if you can it refects bad on you!)…I’m still laughing about that!
If Colin or anyone else is paranoid about it, thats not my fault. I can’t be brought up on it every time!
I already recieved an official warning over my previous “debate” with Colin…which I still don’t understand, nor can anyone who read it.
He abused me down to the ground, and the worst thing I said to him in response was that I was “going to adopt” him…
The truth is everyone knows I wouldn’t adopt him…
If he played his cards right Madonna might!
I have not broke any rules because I was never abusive, nor was I this time.
It is funny though, I’m on a forum of a band that has songs like “Die Like A Motherf**ker” and “Diane” about rape and murder and I’m being warned over my use of the word “LOVE” and “adopt”!!! haha.
Thats rock and roll folks!
Love,
Johnny Knoxville

Welcome to our country. And the beer is here much cheaper in pubs/bars than in Sweden:)

Title: Blimey
I didn’t realise this board ever got like this! Oh well. Perhaps I should lighten proceedings up with an anecdote of something that happened to me today.
I went into B&Q and an elderly bloke in an Orange outfit came up to me and asked me if I wanted decking.
Thought I had better pre-empt anything before it all kicked off, so I made sure I got in the first punch. Now I’m banned from all B&Q stores. Not fair.

Personally i think Therapy? should change the lyrics to those songs incase anyone gets offended, maybe ‘Try like a futhermucker’ would be more appropriate’ and poor old Diane should live happily ever after with the seven dwarfs’!!!
Any other suggestions how T?’s songs could be toned down for the easily offended!

Well, I think that Therapy? are in a fairly unique position. Consider that in 1994-1997 they were the UK media darlings, and since then they have been pretty much ignored. People might question their motivation, and surely it’s a good thing that they are motivated by writing and performing music for themselves/their fans than by making money.
They are obviously happy with where they are now..and can be happy with the knowledge that they have achieved what many bands never will. They had a taste of fame, and the adulation…now they can just enjoy the ride.
Sorry for that garbled essay as my first post…I just got a bit carried away :D

I doubt it, but if their comfortable in their postion, then that’s all it matters.
As for their performing fee, I’m sure it was quite a bit from 93 to 95. But then again, its none of our buisness.
