I met Therapy? a couple of times. First time I was hammered and I don’t really remember what I said.

Second time I was hammered, but do remember what I said, and I was a tit. I did, however buy them all a drink so fingers crossed they don’t think I’m a complete peenarse. (for those of you who don’t know, I am a complete peenarse)

I’ve met Michael, and we just talked about normal band things, gigs, instruments, fav places, dancin’ with manson and how they should play it then he used my phone and said to my friend that I was stalking him. :)

I really wasn’t, honest! ;)

Sorry Mike… :( :p

The first time I met the band, I’ve asked nervously to Andy how does he write some songs ? He’s sympathically answered me Therapy? ‘s process to make an album, after we drunk some beers together and we continued to talk about different bands we listen to, books we’ve read, movies we’ve watched, football.

These guys are incredible.
They are… simply the best.

I would ask him when am I getting my Dublin headliner…

and ask Michael had he ever seen a cock gobblin…

That should pretty much cover everything!

I’d just pray that I didn’t act like a complete prat - But I would remember to thank them for all the great music they’ve given us over the years & drink to their future going from strength to strength.

As for a hug - I don’t know, I don’t want to break them. But if they were offering a hug, it would be rude to refuse.

First time, was after the instore gig in Delft last year, i bought OCFA and they were signing it, I was too shy to say something sensible other than thanking them for signing the cd. That evening I saw them in Tivoli after the gig when they came to drink some beers, but again I didn’t have any guts so din’t talk to either of them, also because I didn’t know what to say. Last time I got one of Neils drumsticks and Evilbeast was so kind to put a marker in my hand and persuade me to ask Neil to sign it, so I did. But still I didn’t really have a conversation. I know, they are really nice, I just have the same problem of not knowing what to say, even when I had plenty of oppertunities. :D

You really should talk to them, they are so cool and really down to earth, none of the rock star bullshit so to speak.

When I first met them, I spoke to Andy about Donington 94, and with Michael about the ins and outs of going from one gig to another on tour. Can’t remember what I spoke to Martin about, but he was a really good bloke to speak to. Graham was still on the tour bus watching Swordfish, so I only managed to get his autograph rather than get to speak to him seriously.
I think the entire crew are really approachable, well I think anyway. Sam is great and when Diamond Dave is there… now he is one guy you really must talk to.

I really couldn’t see the likes of Metallica being like this with their fans, one to ones with the riff raff who are our fans? oooh I don’t think so.

I was a jibbering wreck when i met them and told them they changed my life! I offered them beers but they had some so i chatted to neil about what should be the next single off High Anxiety. He told me some of HA was written in the studio and I said Andy has the art of songwriting well sussed and that you couldn’t tell - usually last minute studio written songs are crap! I’m such an arse kissign loser!

I remember chatting to Andy about football at Aber Uni in 98. We were there having a beer before the gig and he walked in and sat down to watch Chelsea playing a european game (can’t remember which). I was trying hard not to be a pest but he was really tidy as ever.

I met them all after the gig too and it was just after they’d been on the O Zone tv show on bbc2. So one of my mates asked Martin if Jane Middlemiss looked rough with no make up on. He looked really confused and said he didnt know!!

I’ve usually been very drunk and woken up the next morning thinking “What the fuck did I say and do? Oh dear!” Still I’ve prattled at them each time and they’ve always been great :) At the OCFA acoustic set/signing in Manc Andy started laughing and said “Oh, now we’ve met you before!”

Michael is a cool guy
A few months after, because I had sent hi a letter at teh Therapy? fanclub, I received a postcard from him of Giant’s causeway
Second time I met Michael, I said again that he was my favourite bassist !
And said that I loved Ireland. Mike answered “it’s a nice country !”
