i remember finding andy at the bar after they played the roadmender in northampton.(forget which tour).
i asked him why they didnt let my band at the time open up for them.
we were a local college band and begged the venue and called t?s people but they wouldnt let us play.
andy shrugged his shoulders so i drunkenly made a few irish jokes and stumbled back to the disco dance floor.
i failed to tell him that i was the one who nailed him square in the chest with our demo cd half way through their set. he picked it up and read out our bands name over the mic before tossing it aside and said “i’m not listening to that tonight”.

Met em at the accoustic effort in Manchester. Asked Andy to sign this piece of A4 I’d printed the cover of OCFA onto. He put “To Mike, Love and Respect Andy”. It’s now cherished and hung in a frame in the kitchen.

Second time I saw him was before the Manchester gig in ‘06. Was waiting for me girlie to come out of the loo with her camera phone and was gonna harass Andy for a photo. She took forever, as women do, and Andy was gone :-(
She’s now under the patio !!!!
