Just got home from my after work beer from the pub in question (ok, it was more than one…) and was told that a regualr visitor requested a therapy? pre gig party…that’s mysterious, because it wasn’t me (yet)and I’ve no idea who it might have been
the pub opens at 7pm, I’ll check out with the WUK if there are any supporting bands scheduled, just in case. If not, we just take the after show party to the pappala pub. ;)
kossu: I’m happy you’re happy :)
pip: I’ll grab your ticket on friday, from there we proceed as planned.
take care, see you soon.

We´re staying in a hotel on Geblergasse. A room with own bathroom costs for two 80 (breakfast not included, it costs 5 extra). It´s not faraway from WUK if I´m right about the map:) I bet there are cheaper ones than this is. Check it out with Google.

After one polite and one not so polite e-mail to the WUK regarding support bands and t? stage time without any response at all I’ve come to the following conclusion:
- pre gig beers will be consumed at the WUK (they’ve got a pub there, called ‘statt beisl’)
- after show beers will be inhaled at the place I recommended earlier for the pre-gig beers.
So, whoever wants to join in will be warmly welcomded :)
pip: I got hold of what you’re craving for at last
I asked the girl at the ticket shop how many tickets were sold until today and she replied: not so many. :(
cheerio, time to leave the office.

There will be NO support bands, and t? will start early. so you all better be at the venue in time :p
See you tomorrow.

After one hell of a day of flying and walking (and travelling a little bit with tube)we´re ready for the gig.
Hope we meet all Therapy? dudes this evening as we have some nice presents from Suomi to them. The presents almost got destroyed at the Copenhagen airport as the airportstaff threw our package into the plane with a force (we saw it from the terminal as we were waiting to get into the plane).
Also looking forward to meet all the wombles who are coming to the gig:).
It was sad to see that the promotion for the gig has failed; we didn´t see any posters out on the streets.
Hope that the venue will packed.

GREAT SET! GREAT GIG!
i think they had a few problems with the sound at the beginnning thought the people also were a bit layed back … also sounded like they played innocent X with a C Tuning …
But then just one word: BRAINSAW!
AND YES THEY PLAYED IT!
and with and after that song it was just a really great concert. i didn´t expect that to be honest, but well … they still rock, if they want to ;)
they also did dancin with manson,
Evil elvis
and
Lonely, Cryin, Only
complete setlist will be postet by someone else i think
But they started out with
Rust
Innocent X
…

it was an awesome show!
i was surprised they played lonely cryin only. i always thought andy doesn’t like it these days! also evil elvis they played it rarely lately, but he said this is for all the wombles, if you’ve visited our website you know what a womble is. and go! fantastic
but i have to say dancin’ with manson was very chaotic… it was the only song that really sounded a bit dull. i love it normally, but it didn’t quite work yesterday for me.
i wish i would have grabbed a drumstick :(
and take a picture with the guys. did they talk with the fans after the concert? i pissed of pretty early after the show, because i have school.. i am in school now, unfortunately!…
gotta go back..
see you

although it was circa my 12th therapy?-show i met them for the first time yesterday and they were even more friendly than i expected. i think andy was a bit drunk already too :p
anyway, they were just brilliant yesterday, on and off stage!!!
here comes the FUCKING AMAZING setlist:
Rust
Innocent X
Neck Freak
Turn
Knives
Rain hits concrete
Our white noise
Die laughing
Potato Junkie
Rock you monkeys
If it kills me
Brainsaw
Polar Bear
Isolation
Stories
Nowhere
Diane
Dancing with Manson
Lonely Crying Only
Evil Elvis
Screamager
brilliant evening it was!!!
the show was amazing and so were the people! extra BIG HELLO to the WoMbles of course (pip, petri & kati, tom, …) it was a damn nice evening with you guys! so did you go to the pappala pup then with the lads?
i hope i can post some pictures soon! i forgot the cable to load them onto my computer at my parents house …

Title: JESUS CHRIST! THERAPY? ARE ON FIRE!
How great was that gig yesterday?!? It was the best fucking Therapy? show I’ve seen since the SPYF-Tour! And the setlist was a A DREAM COME TRUE! Even the decision not to play “Teethgrinder” was brilliant. They also did a little “Breaking The Law” during “Diane”, which brought a tear to my eye. The beginning was great too with Neil interrupting the Scorpions’ “Wind Of Change”.
At first I didn’t know why T? are even touring without a new studio album to promote but in hindsight this gig worked much better than the last one in Vienna for OCFA. People knew the newer songs now and could sing along whereas the atmosphere is usually a bit stiff during new songs that came out about a month ago or so.
I haven’t seen Andy in such a good mood for quite some time. This was a great show. AN AMAZING SHOW.
The only thing I regret is that I didn’t catch a drumstick and I didn’t get a chance to talk to the band again. Just when I walked out I realized Michael and Neil standing close to the exit (where was Andy?) and someone who was with me started the following dialog.
GUY: Why didn’t you play “Femtex”?
MICHAEL: Did you want to hear it?
GUY: Yeah, because masturbation saved my life.
MICHAEL: Mine too.
Brilliant.

haha, indeed brilliant!
oh, i really regret not talking to any wombles and talking to the band. but i was there with my bro and his girlfriend, they wanted to leave just after the show. understandable because we all had to get up early today… although i actually wanted to stay
i thought it was also strange that there was no teethgrinder! that came to mind on the way home…
i have to agree the whole atmosphere was very enjoyable. it’s always an amazing feeling when all the fans sing along. actually i stood there singing to almost every song… right at the beginning, andy starred at me for a moment, because i sang every single word for rust!
@vagabond: i was desperately trying to find you, or let’s say your hate kill destroy t-shirt! but i didn’t find you… suddenly there seemed to appear about 30 people with therapy? t-shirts, so i don’t wanted to ask everyone if they are wombles… that would have been annoying to most people, and it would have been much work for me too!
but i’ll post some pictures soon. and also a picture of myself maybe someone of you will remember me! :)
i did also a few video clips… one was the end of knives, where all the fans sing and one was potato junkie, also the jam with the fans-part! and the middle part of rock you monkeys!
i would appreciate if you could post your footage too! because i fuckin’ loved that night and i want a bit of footage to remember it!

Title: Fanfuckingtastic Gig
It was worth every cent coming here a great gig vagabond you missed one thing in that setlist they played the first minute of Thin Lizzy’s Jailbreak which was a highlight for me since I’m a huge Thin Lizzy fan other highlight’s include Mikehell’s Bass String breaking at the start of Nowhere and then Andy got the crowd to say Ein,Zwei,Drei,Vier in a northern irish accent Andy had a really good night he was swinging his guitar around and really put on a show for the audience and Mikehell was doing his trademark pogo hopping
and Neil ,well he does his job brilliantly as usual and I was talking to all the lads after the show and all of them were in a good mood signing things and chatting to people I had a great nights jumping around with Tom and Petri having some nice beer and memories I’ll hopefully keep for the rest of my life but saying that I’m in a bad way today I stayed up drinking till half 5 and I have terrible hangover and my neck is in bits from my headbanging but it was worth it :)
Looking forward to the next gig already
Prost :D
@kossu: I will take up your offer of a place to stay if Therapy? are playing up in your part of the world
Did you enjoy the Zoo?
@up_in_flames:Thanks for all your help man for the ticket and bring me to that lovley pub (Which I stayed till half 5) and for giving me Mikehell’s plec(Which Martin got so thank him too)

Tom & girlfriend & friends, Pip (you´re always welcome to us),Vagabond & Janne, Esa (it was a nice surprise to meet another T? fan from Finland)and all the others who were there and we had chat with and so; YOU GUYS KNOW HOW TO ROCK!
And a big thank for Andy, Michael and Neil for giving us great memories once again. Kiitos!
We happened to meet Michael today at Westbanhof when we were looking after our bus. Seemed that his evening had also lasted to the early hours:)
And the zoo was great, one of the best zoo´s we have ever visited in Europe; my hangover dissapeared there totally in the fresh air.
Althought those polarbears seemed to be veeeery stressed and it wasn´t a nice sight at all:(

As I said earlier that I was scared if there would be people as there was no posters or anything about the gig on the streets (only couple of postcards there outside WUK),but hell, the place was almost packed and the atmosphere was just excellent!
And this gig goes to the top three gigs we´we seen of them after Helsinki 03 and St Petersbourg 04.
This was the eight country now we´ve seen them playing in, lookin´forward to a gig in Ireland again, a headline gig:)
Get safe home Pip!
PS; was there a song they played which is not listed there in the setlist? I´m lookin´ here at Andy´s list I caught from stage and I remember that there was one “extra” song too which is not listed, so total 22 songs instead of 21? Maby I was dreaming:D
