i’d like the idea of a WOMble - band …

:D

now wouldn’t that be the dog’s bollocks???
we could do regional chapters like black label society does … :p

i doubt it’s possible, but i like the idea. so let’s start a list of board-members that play instruments, would offer their services as roadies or pleasure-slaves and so on … :D

copy and paste and add your name and “profession” …

1. VAGABOND: vienna, austria; guitar or drums, or pleasure slave for the girls in the band …

Other tasks include:
Folding the band christmas cards to be sent out and licking the envelopes.
Measuring all backstage towels to ensure they meet the regulation size as stipulated in the rider.
Walking up and down the stage pre-show sticking random bits of gaffa tape to random parts of the floor.

positive traits:
-Consumes anything found backstage (tasty or not) under the assumption that “It’s a shame to leave anything to spoil especially since we asked for it on the rider”
-Always has spares of anything (strings, batteries, gasoline, picks, sticks, tape, CDs, cable, drinks, food, setlists)

negative traits:
-Consumes anything found backstage (tasty or not) under the assumption that “It’s a shame to leave anything to spoil especially since we asked for it on the rider”
-Tends to get excited NIN-style: drum sets will be dived into…

Oh, I forgot, I am also good at standing on the stage with a laminate on a lanyard around my neck, torch in hand, putting my hand above my eyes to block out the spotlights as I look out across the crowd in a vain attempt to attract the attention of the guy behind the desk, so that I can give him the thumbs up which means:

“Yes mate, everything is hunky dory up here, all systems primed and ready to go…I’d give it another half hour of shite B-rate hard rock from a barely audiable CD so that the band can piss about backstage with those blonde sluts for a bit longer before the manager finally convinces them that, you know, it’d be nice if the people who paid to see you actually got to see you on the same date as it says on the ticket…”*

(*a thumb can say a hell of a lot)

I don’t do Live sound so no offense taken… anyway I would probably get the crowd going with the sound track from deliverence some rousing banjo music always goes down well at big gigs… it was tested at the last Woodstock and that worked the crowd up a treat!

Okay I don’t do it anymore I should have said… I just didn’t enjoy it, it’s fun at times traveling with a big band but it burns you out quickly and not very healthy.

..plus getting bored mid-set and cutting the power to the band’s backline and flipping the audio feed over to Suicide Pact: You First at full volume never seemed to go down well with any of the bands…

but now it’s pointless when it comes to igor cause he isn’t in the band anymore … soulfly is way overrated by the way.

ok, let’s sum up the WOMble-band so far:

1. VAGABOND: vienna, austria; guitar or drums, or pleasure slave for the girls in the band …
other tasks: wiping out the 0 in 10 on all amplifiers and making it an 11.
constantly mumbling something bout “sustain” …

More positives: I’m cooler than you.

Positives - own kit - been playing for 13 years. Good speed drummer. Can create interesting grooves and fills that work well with the song.Plus Gorgeous :D.

Positives - Songwriting skills can be used against any target put in front me. Security details - bring a few friends from the local karate school for a bit of back up (and as they will be classed as “friends of the band” they don’t need to get doorman licenses :D ).

Negatives - Songwriting might get a little personal about people & law suits may be brought against the band. Can’t drive either.
