First Strike sucked big time, I believe, not funny at all. Rumble in the Bronx was good though, Rush Hour was ok too. I think it’s really cool he does all the stunts himself, he a really nice, down to earth guy too, unlike many other actors.

Dudes, none of his new films match up to his classics. Police Story, Armour of the Gods, Project A (the first one).
I’m not saying the new ones are bad, there’s no such thing as a bad Jackie Chan film, the guy’s a master. He should be dead by now, judging by the out takes at the end of his films.

Hey! Chan is a sympthic actor, man!
He’s got a good sence of humor!
I still have to see his greatest, though (Project A/Police Story etc..)
But He’s got his heart at the right place.
Rumble In Da Bronx, Rush Our even Shangai Noon…he’s a nice chap!
I somehow like him…;-)

Shanghai Noon was actually probably one of the best movies I saw in the theatre last summer, and believe me, I see just about every movie in the theatre at any time. I rememeber seeing Rumble in the Bronx a few years ago at the premiere too. My friend and I went to see Happy Gilmore, which opened on the same day. Our movie got out at about 1am, so we just hopped back in line for the hell of it, bought a ticket to Rumble in the Bronx, and I had an awesome time. At the end of the movie, people were clapping and cheering, which is a pretty rare thing at a movie in the US these days.

are you just a girl in the world? is that all we’ll let you be? incidentally have you heard the live version of that? it’s awesome, gwen gets all the guys in the audience to sing ‘i’m just a girl’ for a bit and then gets all the ‘sweet, cute little girlies’ to shout back ‘no fuck you i’m a girl!’ it sounds bloody great. in fact, i havn’t heard it in ages and i’m gonna see if i can find it for download anywhere now; see ya!
