Quotes on WOM

#

Started by Suz

This is a thread where you can post things that people posted in the past that you liked or found interesting or funny or whatever!

One that i found that was a bit freaky was Johnny Boy in Jul. 7th 2000 on the ‘i need advice’ thread!

He tell someone “maybe you should just hijack a plane and fore the pilot to crash it on the world trade center- thats quite spectacular and lots of people will enjoy watching it on tv”!

Freaky that just over a year later someone did!

Fuck Sake Bollocks!!
Really pissed off here.. dad took me out to get a new phone, seen one I wanted, he agreed to it, so I said to him “Yeah, I’ll get that then”. Then he said no!! So I walked home, about 5 miles, in the rain and just got shouted at for not getting a lift. So, I just threw my old (Motorola V3) in the bin, as a sign of anger.

That my favourite quote from on this site…

Everything in the box there is my favourite quote. I have memorised it all and can entertain with it for hours at parties.

Anything by the ever mature mammy Soul Doubt is usually funny! especially her quote about Irish people

“Being drunk bastards is something to be proud of or what!? Having to be drunk to party is more pathetic than cool if you ask me”

Let your hair down once in a while girl!

Another quote by which is hilarious is by Colin? who sets himself on fire

“Obviously, I know my fire safety very well”

And yet another quote by the good humoured young boy on the sexual advice forums, young Viirokka who always sticks up for his little chum Colin?.
its real cute boys!! :)

Anyway this quote was Viirokka letting us all know how he looks like a girl!

“Yeah I was at a gig last night and a drunk dude came up and started flirting with me (I think he thought I was a girl.. I have quite long hair)”

Oh bugger it … As I’m here anyway I could just mention that I think the saddest quote on Wom is by Suz. It goes something along the lines of “I am 23” …

I wouldn’t know, I haven’t read it.

Ok - I’m seriously genuinely confused here. As far as I can tell then one of the following must be true:

a) You honestly believe that “Anyway this quote was Viirokka letting us all know how he looks like a girl!”, or bringing up ancient history about Colin (that he already took a load of stick for at the time) wasn’t intended to annoy or upset anyone.

b) You know it was intended to annoy or upset people but you don’t care.

c) You are a troll.

Which is it?

A fair point well made - but when they’re kids don’t you think that as an adult you should let it ride? Kids often say and do daft things precisely because they are kids. If you rise to it as an adult it just comes across as petty and nasty. I’m not going to try and find the threads you mention, only because from the sounds of it it might end up with me kicking off at half of WoM and I’d much prefer that everybody just moved on and let Hooch and Teethgrinder get on with their jobs.

@ kids - my apologies, I know that sounds patronising, but one day you will understand! :p [/patronising of entire generation of small people]

@ Interzone - I think what you are saying is that it is great that there are so many very different people on WoM to offer thoughts, opinions and ideas, and that we can all benefit from it. If that [is] what you meant then I think you are absolutely right. :)

As for the comments you didn’t manage to read…
you manage to take great interest in mine…
that is flattering.

All the above A) to D) is correct…

both members had been intended to do the same to me in earlier threads…it’s called a retort!

so as I keep saying…don’t give it if you can’t take it!

Love,

Mr Knoxville

I have no problem with that interzone..

pity you couldn’t have teased things out a little more the first time though…
