Now, anyone who has seen a gig at the Odyssey Arena will tell you the sound isn’t too impressive… and that for the amount of gigs played there there should be a decent sound system!
But REM were a really good live band, who enjoyed banter with the fans.
And when someone was knocked out in the standing section, he asked for medics and stopped the show temporarily so the guy could be taken away.
One of the few ‘real’ bands left nowadays!

Well at ozzzfest a few years ago someone i know got hurt in the pit, and was in the hospital tent, when only ozzy ousbourne walks in to check up on everyone in the tent and warns them to be careful.

I saw REM at Milton Keynes about 10 or 12 years ago. They were just amazing. Brilliant live band :)
