ok , so here i am, jus’ chillin with a beer and lookin around, and i thought i would find my very first ever post. this of course meant trapsing thru a lot of the old posts and subjects to see where i was, and i finally tracked one down as being veeery possibly the earliest, i can’t remember which page, but luckily i copyed the url of each likely candidate for original post, and i would tell you what it was, only it’s crap so i’ll give you this one instead

http://www.teethgrinder.com/wallofmouths/discussion.asp?forum=1&a … amp;page=1

this is of course, all one line. i reckon this is probably one of the best things i’ve ever said on these boards, so i wanted to share it with all of you. and for anyone weird enough to actually want to know what my first post was, at 1406 on the first of april 2000, it’s here:

http://www.teethgrinder.com/wallofmouths/discussion.asp?forum=6&a … amp;page=1

anyway, reading thru these got me thinking about what this board was like when i first started on the internet and it was ll new to me. there were loads of people on this site who were just dedicated to winding everyone else up, and i’m very glad to say that it’s a very much nicer place to be now, and that’s down to everyone that comes here regularly and contributes. look at me, i’m getting all strange and appreciative, but seriously, brendon, teethgrinder and pretender will kno what i mean here, just take a look at some of the first discussions here on non-t? related to see what i mean, it was really aggressive. i think back then if someone had said that they wwanted us all to meet up i would have run a mile. Thanks to you all!

That was a very cool post, deekoi!

I share your feeling that the boards are a much better place than they used to be back in the days, and that everyone here generally is very nice to each other. I rather have a message board with a small amount of users (300+) and good dicussions, than a large userbase with loads of crap.

Some of the cool old visitors left (Razorblade, Moose, messiah and others), but a lot of cool new ones have joined! About some people I don’t know if they still visit regularly, like Brendon for example..

By the way, my first post actually was the first post on the message board..! (who would’ve guessed?) Check it out here:

I’m getting all emotional here.. :-)

Cheers, Teethgrinder.

Oops! I totally forgot that messiah posted a new message about the show in Cleveland in the first week of May. He hasn’t disappeared completely!

Well, as you might know…love and hate are based on a basic similarity: Giving someone loads attention. If this is the case on both sides, you might like each other more than you would want too…

good lord. I’ve just spent the last 3 hours reading through all the old posts on non-T? topics.
It’s amazing how civil we’ve all become, why it’s almost as if we’ve grown up.

By double topics, do you meen discussions that changed from the original topic once or twice. Or topics which we discussed time after time after time ad nausium.
I found both plenty of times.
