Maybe you should pay attention to some of your own advice.
@sam
I really liked the first UNKLE album, but i felt the second one wasn’t so good and James Lavelle has gone up his own arse since.
I used to have the UNKLE album that hjas changes by black sabbath in the intro, i quite liked it.

I listen to alot of coldcut.. they were pretty much massive influences on them both and started the sampling revolution back in the late 80’s.
The main problem with the chemical brothers is that they haven’t done an exciting album since dig your own hole… it’s all been quite dull.. surrender had it moments but the last two were very poor. They still cut it live though.

Check out artists on Warp, rephlex records for starters if you want electro based…and then get stuff from Ninjatune if you want more of a mixture of electro/jazzy and beats.
Radioactiveman is a must then Squarepusher, Luke Vibert/wagon christ, Red Snapper, Herbaliser, Bonobo, Amon Tobin, Nightmares On Wax, Boards of canada, Chris Clark, Fourtet, Hexstatic and u-ziq are all good people to check out… and of course Two Lone swordsmen as mentioned earlier.
I could tell you more but that is plenty for now:)
