They’ve got as long as Andy’s voice hold’s up and/or they still enjoy making/playing music.

They still put out good music so it’s not like they’re just resing on their laurels [Troublegum], so I’m not too worried.

If they hang around long enough musical trends will turn back to more rock [it’s coming believe me…I hope], things will pick up.

As for “Look at the releases now” I think it shows that there’s still enough interest to warrant them, especially if Universals putting stuff out.

I wonder what how the sales are? Anyone know?

Granted a better sign would be if their older stuff was put back in higher circulation. Personally I see the upcoming DVD as a good sign.

Well said, and the plus side to the whole webgig, ‘music through…’ downloads is that its now part of the internet which can help (along with myspace, youtube etc) push the band’s name and get them notice, possibly more than ever before :)

Just be thankful that living where you do you may have the opportunity to see them occasionally. I’ve been a T? fan since 1993, but since I live in Canada, and haven’t seen them live yet, chances are I may not. I mean, they haven’t been to the US since 2001, and that was nowhere near my neck of the woods. So be thankful they’re still around and don’t question if /when they won’t be.

I was at the last Glasgow gig too. The only reason I found out the show was on (didn’t come on here till after that gig) is cos I work in another Glasgow venue and 1 of the promoters told me about it. I saw no advertising in any of the mainstream press for it. After I heard about it I saw a small ad on a flyer, but nothing else. If the promoters had pushed it a bit more, I reckon more people would’ve been there.

As for the fanbase getting smaller, then that’s up to the record company to advertise them more as well as us telling people and dragging our mates along to see them.

it is hard to say how long they will be around. i don’t think they need the money anymore, and just will go on for as long that they have fun. I have seen them a lot of times (only in belgium)and always sold out or nearly sold out.

I was speaking to their old A & R man a while ago and he said T? are practically broke but i don’t think its judgable from our perspective.

Imagine if you built up a business and loved doing it. How many of you would give up when the going got tough? I would, cos i’m a pussy who doesn’t like taking risks, but then again I couldn’t say, cos playing live and making a difference to people’s day would make me forget my troubles - who knows?!

T? i think, will either become legends like Motorhead and earn enough to keep going, or they will fade away if they don’t get back onto the public conscious soon.

I think its a case of a better label needed.

I agree. Althopugh The Wildhearts went for it on their own and managed to make enough cash to keep going - maybe T? should sign to Round Records! At least they will have some props that way :)
