This basically means that we get Monday off to watch the Baggies get stuffed at Wembley by Derby.

COME ON YOU RAMS!!!!!

Ahem, sorry.

Anyone got any cool plans for the long weekend?

And can I take this opportunity to show off that I don’t have to go back to work until 5th June? :D

It’s a fair comment :( Still, an opportunity to go to London and see the Natural History Museum… I’m very excited.

Cool, I haven’t been to the Natural History Museum since I was little.

It was probably called the “Museum Of Contemporary Living” back then, it was so long ago! :D

Nooooo!!!! seeriously DO NOT GO TO THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM at the weekend. Unless you go at 9am. Honestly - it will be rammed to the point where you are suffocating and kicking other peoples kids just to stretch your legs. We went last summer on a saturday at 10 am and it was great for about half an hour. After that it was impossible to move :(

I’m unemployed, so every day is a holiday :(

I’d have given my right arm for a job paying £5.50 an hour when I was at the average age of a McBurger-flipper!

Mind you, £5.50 would have bought a 3 bedroom house and still left change to tax the Bentley, back in those days…

I remember when a pint of beer was 68p, and being outraged when a packet of fags went over the £1 barrier! And it used to cost 2p to make a call from a phone box…

And I also remember when we all got totally ripped off by decimalisation because shopkeepers figured that no-one would notice if they put all the prices up overnight, not realising that kids can tell the difference between getting 8 chews for a penny and getting 2 chews for a penny.
