texture like sun…or…are you Browned off?

So, Great Britain has a new Prime Minister..any thoughts about him folks?

Will he be better than Blair, will he bring back the old values of the Labour Party, or is it a case of “Meet the new boss…the same as the old boss”…?

(Before changing the message boards’ software in August 2007 this discussion contained a poll, which may return in the future)

It seems the British philosophy towards politics is always ‘it’s time for a change’, and this is what we’re getting.

As usual due to inflation the cost of living will increase, but wages won’t rise to reflect this.

I have no thoughts about Gordon Brown as yet, except that he shouldn’t be Prime Minister, they should have called an election. It seems we have a female Home Secretary for the first time ever, though, so things could get interesting.

That’s hardly fair - I didn’t say that I thought the same things as her. I just wear the same suits.

Gear God, I can’t believe I said that, even in jest!

I retract it all.
