Nah I’d want something more of a hybrid Troublegum-Nurse with a little Pleasure Death :D
Then slip in a slice of Auto Surgery and Totally Random Man.

If it’s the same as One Cure Fits All, I don’t think I’ll bother with any more…

I won’t be buying any more albums on blind faith I’m afraid so it had better be good! Heaviness with tunes ala High Anxiety is what we need, please! :o ;)

Never gonna make everybody happy.

I would like a crisp and clear production, nice dark heavy songs and demented lyrics.

Would also be cool if they started using more samples again - back to the routes!

Am sure they will do a great job and I will still buy without an advanced listen coz the guys still rock in my opinion.

For me Therapy? work better with the claustrophobic/ paranoid vibes of an album like NANE rather than the more upbeat/ positive sides that some of OCFA shows.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d much rather have the guys in the band happy and content with life instead of crawling up walls in hallucenogenic ravages of suicidal manic depression…but, erm, the latter makes for better music, no..?

Yeah, another Infernal love would be good. I guess it would be more like Never apologise, never explain rather than One cure fits all…

oh I don’t know what i’d like, just a album with good songs would do. OCFA was alright but it never grabbed me, same with NANE, far too many songs with animals in the lyrics, as I grow older songs about monkies and polar bears seem a bit silly.

I’d love a something like Infernal Love but Andy would have to be a mental reck again and thats hardly fair to his wife and kid!!

I got into Therapy? and Paradise Lost in the same year. Both bands have released albums that havent done it for me but PL have managed to get back on track, I don’t know if T? can do the same. I’ll buy it what ever it is but i’d love to be blown away this time.

IMHO I’m pretty sure that the next record will not be ‘a second whatever’ but it will resemble NANE and OCFA more than the rest.

Good!

More samples would be quite cool too though, and a Lonely Cryin’ Only/Long Distance moment of loveliness. And some insanity like ‘As I Pursue My Way Unharmed’, although without the wait.

Elephants also, keep that in mind.

I really want Neil Cooper to get more of a starring role in the next album - I’d like it to be less straight-forward rock and more challenging rhythmically.

That’s not to say there was none of that on OCFA, I would just personally prefer them to go further in that direction.

I always found the Teethgrinders more interesting than the Trigger Insides, myself.

Tell me what is so wrong with OCFA?! Maby I´ve missed something:D
When IL came out back in 95, most of the people were waiting for another TG and there was this fuss of all the “links” between the songs and people were crying that it was overproduced and the songs were bad, and now it´s a masterpiece. It was a masterpiece then and it´s a masterpiece now, so simple is that.
I bet same kinda thing happens with OCFA, let´s wait another 12 years:)
Ugh, this “wisearse” has spoken:p

Infernal Love is CLASS. Great songs, Great Production.

but OCFA isnt the first album I havent liked. Shameless being the last one. But after that they released High Anxiety and Never Apologise, which are two of my fave albums :)

So, heres hoping for another GREAT album with GREAT production.

p.s. HA came out in 2003 ? Must be nice to know that your latest album pisses on the latest metallica album :D
