I was at Reading festival in 2000 and 2001 - it seemed alright. Ricky Gervais is from there and doesn’t have much good to say about it tho

Ricky Gervais doesnt have a whole to say as it is.

Every time i’ve seen him on TV recently , hes done material from the office. At first I thought he was douing it itonically but now im starting to realise hes not the genius comedian everyone thinks he is and more like a one trick pony.

They are meant to be getting ready to record a new album soon… with Graham back in the band. But there is still time for it all to go tits up.

Reading is not too bad a place, irrespective of the mess around festival time!

Alex James has stated that they are going to do a new album but if its sounding shit they are gonna call it a day… why didn’t they employ this high level of quality control around the time of the 13 album??!!!! :D

If there isn’t a link between Blur and Reading then there should be. They occupy a similar place in my mind.

Alternative was always an oxymoron anyway. In fact, it was always a pretty crap way to sum up a type of music and culture!

Surely it should have been called ‘Different-to-whats-in-the-charts-until-we-get-into-the-charts?! :p
