I’m with Paddy, Shed 7 were great… up until that awful song about rainbows, anyhow.

Heheh, doesn’t sound good. I must have seen them live a dozen times in the mid 90s but I’d be hard pressed to identify any of them in a line-up now :o

Lead singer of Shed 7, well he still looks like Richard Ashcroft with AIDS (if thats possible!).

Bit of trivia but do you know where the band got their name from. I do ;)

Apparantly there was originally 13 in the band (7 of which were a brass section). They were offered a deal on the basis that they shed 7 members.

Every days a school day hooch ;)

They said on TV that they were sitting by the railway in York, and there were numbered sheds, in various states of disrepair, of which no. 7 was missing entirely, hence they decided to become Shed 7. I think they are one of these bands that just makes up a different story every time they get interviewed, possibly as a smokescreen for the fact that it is such a shite name for a band!

:p That cant be true since there are only 4 band members.

Maybe they were 11 with brass.

Anyway - bad band - hopped on whatever band wagon was passing.

Baggy ? check…Blur ? check…oasis ? check…

Whats teh latest bandwagon …oh god no ! NME garge rock revival !! Theyre going to change their name to the Sheds, Rick is going to grow an afro and hide half his face with it, the guitarist is going to use a rickenbacker and the drummer is going to get rid of all the cymbals on his right hand side  Noooo !

Dont know how you can say that.

Dodgy have some quality songs.

At least they weren’t trying to be every fad that came along like Rick Witters lot.
