that’s a shame. i read some book about him a few years back (which was actually mostly about new order and the hacienda) and he seemed like a nice chap. a bit of an unprofessional businessman but a bloke who was really only doing it for the music he liked.

i still stand by my opinion though that the happy mondays were, and will always continue to be, shit.

he was a legend though. my respect goes out to his family and friends.
