New recordings

What songs have Therapy? Re-recorded apart from Diane and Skyward? Does the re-recorded Diane sound any better from the original?
I think they should re-record some of the other older songs like Potato Junkie, Innocent X and Dancin’ with Manson. They’d be a lot better if it was better quality

The re-recorded version of Diane isn’t better than the original T? version. I think the faster rock version, which they play live very often, is better than the original though.
They did a new recording of Disgracelands too, and the version of Potato Junkie on ‘So Much For The Ten Year Plan’ sounds different too compared to the original.

Potato Junkie sounds different? Sure?
there are also 2 versions of Neck freak and Accelerator. They recorded nearly half of the nurse album new…I’d like to hear a new version of Nausea, either with cello like on Dead Laughing or as powerful as the forestglade one.

Well, I think the version on So Much… sounds different than the Pleasure Death (or Caucasian Psychosis version), or am I the only one who thinks that!

I think they shouldnt re-record stuff that much. Would you like Pink Floyd to record The Wall again? How it sounds is part of the song and I don’t think I would be satisfied with potato junkie sounding like Troublegum sounds. know what I’m saying?

I couldn’t help it, so I listend to Potato Junkie on So much of…in my local cd-shop again. It’s exactly the same version, the only difference might be that the volume level on the whole CD was brought up to one level, but I couldn’t tell that for sure with the headphones I had to use.

Then it might be the volume, it sounds a bit ‘fuller’, I think.
