Hi there. I’m from belgium. I’ve only been a real fan of Therapy? for about 2 years as of yet, but I’ve always liked there music. I started liking Therapy? when my dad was playing ‘Infernal Love’ (quite loud, to) while he was washing up. The lyrics and the sounds really dragged me along and I soon got to listening to the three cd’s we had other from Infernal Love which were Nurse, Semi-Detached and Suicide Pact - You First. I thought they were great so I quickly got to buying most other CD’s, ordered the ‘Irony?’ shirt from this site and also bought two DVDs during those years. Now I have most CD’s except for Babyteeth (can’t find it anywhere), and So Much for the Ten Year Plan. And of course the limited edition CD’s like ‘have a merry fuckin’ christmas’ but I doubt many people have those (though I would’ve loved to hear Andy singing ‘with or without you’). I first saw Therapy? in Lokeren, they played a really good gig there and I’ve remained a devoted fan since then. Apart from Therapy? I like many other rock and metal bands, but also Fun Lovin’ Criminals who are about second to me. I also like sports and gaming.

Hi Jelle, welcome to Wall of Mouths!

Kudos to your dad for washing up to the sounds of Infernal Love and creating another Therapy? fan along the way, and cool to hear it triggered you to get a lot more Therapy? stuff and to see them live. I have the Irony? shirt myself as well, and it is still one of my favourite T?-shirts. Oh, and just for the record (no pun intended), Have a Merry Fucking Christmas was not released on CD, but only on 7” vinyl in 2 versions, original and bootleg. It’s nice to have them as a collector, but you’re not missing much when it comes to With Or Without You. It’s been a while since I listened to it, but it’s not a particularly great cover if I remember correctly…

Have you seen FLC live as well, by the way? Great band, and especially enjoyable live.

Anyway, hope you enjoy yourself - many sports fans here, and if you like gaming you might also like the Computer Games thread.

Hi welcome on WoM, it’s always nice to see fellow Belgians on this boards.
I come across Babyteeth every now and then in recordstores here in Belgium, so don’t give up. Ever asked your local recordstore if they can still order it? Most stores order whatever you ask for.
About gaming, what platforms do you play?

Thanks for the welcomes.

Yeah I have seen FLC ample times and it’s true that they’re really great life. Huey plays some awesome guitar and it’s funny to see him taking another almost every song (same goes for his cigarettes). The first time I saw them was in Herentals (where I live) which was quite exceptional for them to come to such a small concert. Second time was also in Lokeren, a few days after Therapy? (who opened the festival there, by the way) and last time was in Opglabbeek.

Well I asked for it in the mediamarkt in Antwerp but he said Babyteeth wasn’t produced anymore (it was quite recently). Then I went looking around in the ‘unofficial’ stores for quite some time. They had Infernal Love in almost every one of those shops, but pity not Babyteeth. Well I think I can call myself lucky I managed to get my hands on pleasure death via Proxis :)

I play mostly RTS like Warcraft III (both reign as chaos as frozen throne). Used to play online regularly, until school started off again. Atm I’m playing mostly Medieval II, but I also like to play RP games now and then (I have the whole Gothic collection).

Yeah my dad’s quite cool. My mom has a good music taste to and really respects irish people (as do I) so the link to Therapy? was quickly made. It’s actually via my parents that I learned to differ good music from bad I guess :D And we also have a great collection of CD’s, about 500 with a full collection of U2 and lots of Pink Floyd and Moby, to name a few.

Welcome Jelle!! The Gracious Me thread is a good place to start in here. You can post (just about) anything and it can be good for a laugh.

I’m originally from Hoogstraten, which isn’t far from Herentals, nowadays I live in Deinze. I used to cycle from Hoogstraten to Herentals for mountainbiking in the woods. :)
A pity they can’t order you a copy of Babyteeth anymore, if I come across a copy I’ll let you know, it’s one of my favorite Therapy? CD’s!
