Wash your mouth out with soap and water!

You young ‘uns need to have more respect for us aging rockers who don’t listen to anything released since 1976!

It’s not MY fault if I can’t make it down to the electrical store for one of them new-fangled CD players, what with my hip and then my arthritis gets funny in this cold weather, and I often find that by the time I have put my scarf, hat and mittens on ( well, this cold air gets to old bones, you know!)..well, by then I have usually forgotten what it was I was going out for anyway.

And I don’t want to miss the Meals On Wheels delivery, do I?

Now be off with you and take your Systems On A Down albums with you, you scamp, before I phone the police!

*collapses in his favourite chair for a quick nap*

Seriously though, get Slayer to play the whole of Seasons In The Abyss and I may contemplate a day ticket.

*sulks*

I am doing some work for a large brand who want all American music (I compile background music playlists for companies - yeah shoot me, I will understand :( ) and I swear if there is a difference between most of these band I have yet to spot it.

Maybe America has a “house band” that writes and records all of the College Rock or Mainstream Rock or Whatever Naff Box You Have To Put It In Rock and releases it under different names with different actors in the videos/ posters/ album sleeves.

Incubus, Daughtry, Better Than Ezra, Gin Blossoms, Hoobastank, Switchfoot…oh God the list is endless.

Is it really any wonder I end up with stuff like Reign In Blood on my car stereo on the way home?!

Daughtery are aweful, the street promotions company i team for sent me loadsa daughtery flyers etc, after that I came up with a new policy that id only team for bands I like, so the daughtery stuff is sitting under my bad collecting dust.

And the bands main selling point is “album featuring Slash out now”

jesus christ, stop using someones name (who isnt even in your band) to shift your music.

Pretty much the line up sucks balls… motorhead will always be good but not worth the price, lostprophets are one of the shittest bands ever …and i would rather willfully detach my retina the ever see or hear Kiss again… incubus did a good album then went amazingly gay and the offspring are as punk as my gran and as she is dead so she actually gets more punk points so they go further down the how shit are they pile.

Woohoo to overpriced tickets.. and goodnight.
