I think going to a My Bloody Valentine gig by yourself is the start of a slippery slope - next I’ll be sitting in a dark room, wearing eyeliner, drinking red wine and listening to back-to-back Sisters Of Mercy albums all weekend.

Why do you care what anyone else thinks mate - nothing wrong with checking a gig out on your own if you can’t find anyone who wants to go. Buy yourself a camcorder and use it as a prop if need be :)

Nah - don’t give a fuck what anyone else thinks to be honest - I’d just find it a bit boring by myself.

I think Loveless is an ace album, but I’ve also got Ecstasy & Wine which I’m not that keen on… so it would probably be a mixed bag!

just take the e and drink the booze and you’ll be as happy as larry! I used to go to gigs all the time on my own, in fact i still do from time to time. went to see dillinger a few months back on me tod. I like it that way, no fecker annoying you wanting to head off early or stand at the bar for half the gig

Ha ha, probably best not to mix booze and e - just take the e. You’re sure to make some new friends there ;)

4/5 of my old band were there and in after trying to drink all the beer in the world I attempted to smoke the skunk to death… next moring I honestly thought I was going to die :)

I saw MBV at the ICA on saturday, and they were incredible. You Made Me Realise was the loudest thing I’ve ever heard.
Well worth going to see, but I’m not sure it would work so well in a big venue.

no i haven’t prehaps i should. the problem is that its a ticket that has been sent to me by ticket master and i have to print it off my self, don’t know if they would go for it as they may think i printed off a load of them. Sure i may as well give it a go and see does anyone go for it, i have a honest face don’t you know!
