The message displayed when you change your username

I think that when you change your username then the message that displays for 30 days should say “X changed their name to Y” rather than “X changed HIS name to Y” because I’m a girl and now it looks like i’m a boy :-(

Actually I only know 2 songs and You Really Got Me is quite good, so I take it back. Why did you choose the name?

The Kinks are fantastic, it’s Barry Manilow I take issue with .. *sings* her name was lola, she was a womble… Well ok - it’s marginally better like that.

My friend’s grandbaby is due tomorrow, and if it is a girl they are going to call it Lola. Isn’t that a bizarre coincidence?

Funny that you chose a name that’s associated with a song about transvestism but are concerned with being thought of as “a boy.” ;-) Well, okay, maybe not that funny.

I’ve emailed Rene regarding the his/her thing btw - sorry it’s something I didn’t pick up on before. I’m sure it’s just an oversight on his part.

Waterloo Sunset is one of my all time favourites, and it would be perfect for a punk cover. I don’t suppose you know if such a thing exists?

The Def Leppard version’s gotta be good for a laugh. :-)

I don’t want to laugh, I want to be wowed by an injection of pure raw passion. Somehow I don’t think Def Leppard will cut the mustard…

LOL :D

Assuming you are not taking the piss, Crimpshrine are an American punk band formed in the mid 80s and still going and Leatherface are similar but British and a lot more talented by … well - any commonly accepted measure! Crimpshrine are less polished than … erm … any other band ever, but it isn’t because they’re American - they just are what they are, and I respect them for that. Also ‘Pretty Mess’ is one of my favourite songs of all time :)

Mighta been just a smidge before my time. ;-) Also, spent most of the early to mid-eighties surfin n wasted listening exclusively to Maiden/Metallica/Megadeth/Slayer. :-( Sadly, not much has changed!
