T?-shirt reissues

#

Started by hoochalobster (Sarah) Super Moderator

I am going to pre-empt this with the words maybe, possibly and eventually.

Would it be good if some of the earliest Therapy? t-shirt designs were available to buy again through our merchandise section? Your thoughts, please.

If you have any old/ rare t-shirts, would you be so kind as to email me (sarah at therapyquestionmark.co.uk) pictures of them to refresh the memories of the merchandise company? Many thanks :)

I think it would be a bad idea, on account of me not having enough money to buy them. I am of course the centre of the known universe.

On the other hand, if I did have any money, and/or I’m mistaken, and am in fact not the centre of the known universe, then retro T? shirts would be a great idea.

For God’s sake d - can’t you be a bit more positive? Get some plain T-shirts from a charity shop and simply embroider the design of your choice on them :)

But it would take ages to embroider ‘I am the centre of the known universe’ onto a t-shirt, and the writing would be tiny. :( I’d rather have some sort of specially made t-shirt, with a Therapy? logo or slogan on it, officially endorsed by the band, and available to buy from this website. Maybe someone should start a thread about such a thing? [/oblivious]

BEST IDEA EVER!!!

Top of my list would be that “neighbour, guy next door” one kossu mentions… also the “Have a Nice Day… In Hell” one. I’ll try and scan in some of my vintage shirts when I’m back from holiday (been in Hungary / Czech Republic for 2 weeks!) I have a REALLY old “Ear Proectors Must Be Worn” one, from 1991 I think. I lost a cool one I had that was the Hats Off To The Insane cover though, would be cool to get that back

Yeah, I agree with kossu and Dermot - the “neighbour, guy next door” one with, I think, Dennis Hoppers’ face on the front, is great.

Do you mean that one from a very early newsletter? With a face on the front and “your friend, your teacher, the guy next door?” on the back?
I really love the back of that shirt, but the front doesn’t look that nice IMO. It would be lovely if they changed the front. :-)
The other shirt on the same newsletter wich says “leave me alone” is also a nice one.

I don’t like the idea of a re-issue from the Punk Floyd shirt, since that’s a real exclusive, and it would be a shame if a re-edition would make it less exclusive. (don’t have it though)

@ Colin: isn’t me, my shirts aren’t on my website.

I would love this, however, I noticed that you can only buy shirts in Small or XL! Small only just fits me and XL is like wearing a toga!
Please put up Medium or at least large!

I’d like any T? shirts man, I already have the ‘god take me somewhere, anywhere but here’ one and the ‘Private nobody’ one.
