How dull am I?

#

Started by CS (Colin S)

Sitting in on a saturday night, drinking Stella and eating Pringles on my own, while having the odd wank over a bit of porn.

How many 17 year olds do that on a saturday night?!

I should know!

Although Im generally not on my own on a Saturday, but I’m ill.

I have to wait until December 5th to see the wildhearts with my buddy who was photographed in Kerrang! this week supposedly (he was next to the guy who won the cd this week froma photo at truck fest), the guy with the mohican and face painted like the joker from the dark knight.
Wonderful stuff. Don’t buy Kerrang!, but have a look. Wonderful photo.

All the 17 year olds round here go out on Saturday nights with their fake ids and have a good time. If you’re drinking on your own then there could be something wrong with you. On the other hand, I would rather lick rancid pus from Satan’s arse than go and see the Wildhearts, so in my opinion there is something much much wronger with Grant!

What did I do last night?

Finished off Irvine Welsh’s latest novel and read some poetry, having a few cans of Fosters in between.

All 17 year olds should wank, by the way - its the law.

Don’t drink alcohol anymore as you know. But when I used to, yes, I would regularly drink alcohol on my own. This is the second time you’ve suggested people have alcohol problems mrs h…stones and glass houses and all that ;)

When have I suggested people have alcohol problems? I was more concerned that Colin might be depressed. And why do you think I have an alcohol problem? If it’s based on the fact that you and I went on that total bender with Divers and Hooch then I can assure you from the bottom of my heart that I have never ever ever been that pissed again! :p

You also suggested Grant had an alcohol problem after he ended up under that Portaloo. How exactly is drinking alcohol alone any different to drinking with other people anyway?! And I wouldn’t judge other people so quickly about this issue if I were you, mrs h, because you occasionally come on here really pissed, and it could easily be argued that getting really pissed is as much a sign of an alcohol problem as drinking alone! I’m not wanting to start a dispute, just saying!

I never said anyone had an alcohol problem - I said that Grant might like to look at his relationship with alcohol, and that Colin might have a problem if he was holed up in his bedroom drinking on a Saturday night and starting a thread about it! Still, I think it’s very sweet of you to defend them seeing as you’re usually so bloody horrible :p

I don’t think I suffer from depression - I have my moments, as everyone does, but generally I’m ok.
I’ve not been drunk since the middle of March and have really cut down on my drinking (down mainly to not being able to afford it!).
I don’t think I have a problem, I’ve cut back on drinking and am starting to take health and fitness more seriously.

Good for you though mate. I wouldn’t sit and drink wifebeater on my own.
Hate stella anyway, I’m more of a cider drinker, beer just makes me feel sick.

That was a good solid day of drinking, i really didn’t think i was going to be able to as i was so hungover… but that first morning pint sorted it all out.

As far as drinking on your own, really depends how you do it and why… I generally don’t keep booze in my house as i will drink it. But there is nothing wrong after a long day having a few beers on your own to unwind. Even the odd night where just because you in a bad mood and feel like getting munted then go for it you get it out of your system and normally the next day you feel an idiot for doing it and what a waste of money. I find i drink far more when i’m with people as its just easier so get into a state as your laughing and forget how much you are putting away. I would say when you get to the point that you [b]need[b] booze to feel normal or be social then you probably do have a problem. Just being young and reckless with alcohol is a different thing… its more when others start to see its taking over your life and have to say something then you should take notice.

This could all be rambling bollocks but i know what i mean, just don’t know if its coming across right.
