New AC/DC song

#

Started by KJC Dublin (Karl)

Anyone heard it yet.

I am at work and can’t access nice websites that would let me stream it.

Feedback suggests that it is quite good.

I am praying that when they tour that they do Slane in Ireland…

It’s exactly what you’d expect really. Not as good as the song Stiff Upper Lip, but a fairly typical AcDc midtempo rocker.

I agree. I knew exactly how it would sound before I even heard it. Is that good or bad ?

Well,

not difficult seeing they have been using the same 5 chords / Drum beat / bass line for over 30 years ;-)

Ah, I have always had a soft spot for AC/DC - preferred them with Bon Scott though.

I am looking foward to listening.

Well, i know you have not actually heard it yet, but in a way you have. It sounds pretty much exactly how you’ld imagine.

With free chicks and drugs after! Unbeatable!

Yeah, Cliff Williams has the cushiest number in rock n’roll. He’s made millions on the backs of the Youngs for 30 years and doesn’t even move on stage and probably doesn’t even get recognised off it. The absolute life of Riley, that lad!

As for their last few albums, they’re pretty boring. They haven’t made a good album since Flick of the Switch in 1983. I still love ‘em though!

I think personally Airbourne are doing a better job at music like this these days but it’s still better than all the other pish around these days

Do I have to go anywhere particular on the website?

Maybe you need an up to date Flash player…or some other technical thing I have equally no clue about whatsoever?!

It’s not bad except well, you know the score - it sounds like all their other songs. I’m not sure if i’m allowed to criticize that idea or not cos they do what they do and never change!

Well, it’s hard to dislike AC/DC compared with, say, Metallica, as the ‘DC have never pretended to be anything they aren’t and never tried to be cool. Even they said at one point they release the same album over and over again, so they can take the piss out od themselves as well. I’ve never heard a word of bullshit from them.

Yeah I think Angus took umbridge when a journalist said they’d done 10 albums that all sounded the same..

Finally got to listen to it and have to say that I am loving it.

Sure it is the same tried formula (did we really expect anything else) but I think it sounds alot more fresh than the tracks off their last two albums.

I would even say that this song would have found a place on one of their 80’s album.

Gonna get it and pray that they play Dublin.

Was lucky emough to buy 2 standing tickets for the Dublin show in 18th April, first thing this morning in the “www.O2blueroom.ie” pre-sale thingy.

They went like the proverbial hotcake, so they did!

Can’t wait to finally see AC/DC live.

And Judas Priest 2 months before.
My bucket list is definitely getting shorter.

Bring on Black Ice!

BTW, only a certain amount of tickets are allocated to pre-sale - you will have your chance again on Friday.

Not feeling particularly hopeful on this one!
