Oh great, here we go again “all the songs sound like Ace of Spades”…

Try listening to the album, eh?

He could be trying to compliment it and saying ten quality songs and no filler?…

Anyway I like the new album, its better that Kiss of death… they don;t really mess with their formula and haven’t really done a shit since March or die… although Hammered was a bit dull.

Lemmy says in the latest Metal Hammer that Iron Fist and Hammered are the only albums he doesn’t like, and that’s cos the production ruined them. Personally I think the songs on Hammered were mostly just too weak, but yeah everything since March or Die has been top notch.

it´s better than the two previous ones together, IMO. And there´s deffo no AOS pt2 or so on in there. All songs are pure MH and fresh stuff.
My faves from listening to it over a month now are “Rock out” & “Thousand names of god”. Any song of this newbie would be in the setlist easily and I really hope that they will “clean up” the list and play as much as possible new songs from the three past albums and sum songs from “Bastards” (1993) which is one of my MH fave albums of all time. Gonna see them live in Bremen on the 30th of Nov and here in Finland, Helsinki on the 16th of Dec.

Bastards is easily their best album, its just solid from start to finish, even Lemmy claims it’s their best album… its a shame it seems to get over looked live.

Actually, their cover version of Whiplash sounded nothing like Ace of Spades. As a matter of fact, I bet Metallica wished that they sounded that much like Metallica nowadays…

They are, actually! The English accent Hetfield puts on is surprisingly convincing. In fact a lot of Garage Inc is good, but that’s for another thread…

I thought i was the only person who loved Bastards, seems you guys and Lemmy think its the best too which is good!
I met Mikkey Dee and asked him why they didn’t play more off Bastards but he didn’t really have an answer and I was too drunk to remember anyway!

really hope the set changes…if they open with Dr Rock when I see them in Nov i’m leaving! Now what about ‘On Your Feet or On Your Knees’ as an opener. That would be mental!

Exactly! “Dr Rock..?! AGAIN?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

They should’ve opened the set with Sucker on the last tour - it has “set opener” written all over it, it SCREAMS “set opener”
