T? Import CD — “I Want My Money Back”

#

Started by RoyBatty (Steve)

I was just trolling through Amazon and came across this listed as a T? Import from 2005. The product description: “UK pressing features 15 tracks including the songs ‘Darling I Need You’ and ‘Leaving It Up To You’ and many more. Insect. 2005.” I’ve also seen this listed in the past as “I Want My Fucking Money Back.” Anyone know this one? Was thinking of picking it up, but it sounded kinda dodgy especially with those song titles…

Astoria, London 27/11/92. About 52mins. A fairly poor quality live show, although it is soundboard. It came out in 1994.

Dunno where Amazon got those song titles from, they aren’t on the sleeve.
Although if it is a 2005 edition, it could well be different. But it’s more than likely just confused information and not a 2005 release at all.

As for the quality, the clue is in the title

They did a live studio session in ‘95 that wasn’t on the BBC Sessions CD, I can only assume ‘cos it was live as apposed to recorded. The tracks were Loose, Bad Mother, Our Love Must Die, 30 Seconds.

They also did a session in 2004, which wasn’t included either. Presumably ‘cos they weren’t on Universal by then.

Yeah, the Wolverhampton ‘94 gig was an hour long BBC special that appeared on the “Isolation” bootleg. There’s also an official “BBC In Concert” promo disc of it. No doubt it’s from that disk that they’ve taken various tracks and broadcast them recently.

Still, the BBC have broadcast plenty of live T? gigs back in the 90’s, though the Wolverhampton gig seems to be the only one they have saved in the form of a promo.

Cool man. You should ask her to find as much shit as possible!

From memory, the BBC have broadcasted at least parts of the following gigs - Finsbury Park 92, Reading 93, Donington 94 & 95, Glasgow 94, Cardiff 94. There may be others as well.
