Girlfriend in a coma. Charity Shop Detective Mystery / Insanity / Awesome / Other unrelated tags

#

Started by EclipseDeLarge

The other day I went into a charity shop in Glastonbury and saw a copy of a book called Lucky Bones which I’m reading at the moment, a friend lent it to me. I felt compelled to pick it up and I did and flipped to the back and there were some things written. There were three phrases, I can’t remember the first two but the third I recognised and it was “Girlfriend in a coma”. I googled it and it’s a Smith song, and Therapy? covered a Smith song (Vicar in a Tutu) in the album “The Smiths is dead”.
I’m not sure if there is some mystery here, but i found it odd and I’m compelled to buy the book to see what the other two phrases were..?

The plot thickens:

I had been in the charity shop buying tickets to the Battle of the Bands and on the night the last band to play played Dancing With Manson! Which is weird because:
I was in the shop to buy tickets - The Book reminded me of Therapy? - They played Therapy? on the night.

I went in the next day to buy the book and it had gone, so I don’t know where else this can lead now.

The wierdest part of all though is that you ended up telling this story on therapy?’s official website, what are the chances of that eh?
