hi all, would appreciate if anyone could tell me how much you would pay for the original “have a MErry Fucking Christmas”? There was only 1000 ever printed and 500 were given out at a Belfast gig and 500 at the Dublin one. Would appreciate anyones help.

Cheers

It depands. I saw a copy go for around eight quid a few years ago, and signed to someone called Paul. Don’t know if that decreased its value or that rare T? vinyl is losing value as they’re not a chart band anymore, I’m not sure. I know that there are loads of T? here who would give a better answer.

Oh, and did I buy that record signed to Paul?

No, cause the twats running the shop lost the disc and I’d phone repeatly to ask if they found it. Gave up after a couple of weeks and the sho[ closed down a few months later.

Fatboy, was it the official version they were selling for £8, or the bootleg? The bootleg had a picture of Michael on it, they original doesn’t.

I’d expect the official version to fetch about between 50 and 100 quid on Ebay.

it’s pretty difficult to predict what the final price will be. i think most of therapy? collectors already have hamfc or meat abstract, they’ve come up on ebay numerous of times. my guess is +/- 30 pounds, about the price i paid for my copy. but then again, you might get lucky and get more than that.

This place must be the best location to advertise it…I would guess most hardcore t? collectors are members of the WoM…?

It was the orignal as it had Gemil in a Santa hat. I remember the cover many years before I saw it in the shop in Record Collector.

The Gemil in Santa hat is not necessarily the official, the bootleg’s got this as well… on the back and it’s got another font.

But yeah if you’re lucky, about 50 quid I think… it seems to be a bad time for selling T?-rarities (even though the fanclub CD went for a surpisingly high price last weekend)
