The only reason I have Mr Foot on my list is cos I’ve had him since the Death race thing started on this site.

I think the deadline should be the end of January for this year’s death race, I’ll past everyone into one post then and work off that :-)

So are you trying to join the PSNI Colin? I was at a peace rally for Gaza in the city centre today, there were hundreds of riot police about :-/

I am trying, heard they are ‘officially’ recruiting very soon! Also giving Lancashire Constabulary a go!
Yeh, I spotted the riot police, especially at Castle Junction (where McD’s is). I also heard that some of the protester stormed into M&S and held a protest for some reason (something about M&S uses Isreali products). So there was a strong police presence outside M&S and the door by the City Hall was closed!
Unfortunately I was out with the dad til about 4PM so I missed the parade. Was it a peaceful one?

Regarding the riot squad, here’s a quote from a Guardian news story about the protest in London yesterday:

Protester Ahmed Mohammad, 23, said that he saw women and children hurt in police charges: “It was a peaceful protest until the riot police came. I’ve seen a mother and little girl pushed to the ground.”

I’ve had Allingham top of the list for 3 years now - surely he can’t actually BE immortal. Winehouse is looking healthy, happy and clean(ish) at the moment - all the more reason for her to cark it when she gets back to London and smokes a wheelbarrow full of crack in 20 minutes.

I think you guys are dead on (pun!) with Swayze. I completely forgot about his prognosis last year and don’t have him on my list! And Vera Lynn is a real person and not just some name in a Pink Floyd song, eh? Who says the WoM isn’t a fount of information?
