Therapy? Chart Positions

#

Started by silverginger5

Whilst filling up some time this morning I came across this website which shows every single and album position in the UK chart. Not sure if they are all correct, especially gimme back my brain which i’m fairly sure never got to number 6!! Also where is NANE and everything before nowhere, apart from that its quite interesting. I’m not sure what the numbers in brackets at the end signify, something to do with number of weeks maybe

Spotted that website a few months ago too. I asked the guy that runs the site about “Gimme Back My Brain”; it got to no. 6 in the “Budget” albums chart. Around the time it was released, there was such a thing as ‘Budget’ which was for EPs and mini-albums etc. So “GBMB” was considered for it ‘cos it had 7 different songs.

I would have thought NANE sold better than High Anxeity and especially OCFA. Cant see the new one making it in but you never know.

Crooked Timber landed at Number 11 in the Rock Chart though, only Mastodon were higher (straight to no 1!)

Eh? I don’t get it.
Surely, 9 other bands were also higher than Therapy, not just Mastodon?

in part 5 or 6 of this interview http://www.faceculture.com/artist.php?id=429 andy talks about sales figures: apparently the band sold a total of around 3 million records, including OCFAs figures. Troublegum did best and alone sold approx. 1 million. Didn’t know that.
