C’mon guys admit it, before the Playstations, Wii’s, Xbox’s etc what was it that you used to own/play?
Lets talk about those tacky cartridges and games of yesterday.

I think I started with the Master System… anyone had one of them? Or older even? :)

Hehe - never did. They were out when I was at primary school really - and at that age I figure my parents thought I should just make do with the Spectrum (it had a build in tape deck!!).

Plus - cartridges were expensive (bout £30-£40 back then) where a premium Specy/Amstrad/Amiga game was about £12

I actually had all of these at some stage as a kid. Then moved onto Megadrive II, then Nintendo 64. I’ve never owned anything newer than that.

I’m not really into gaming like I used be but your can’t beat a bit of retro gaming, I played Alex the kid a while back as my flat mate has a Master System but it just wasn’t the same

Yeah - I’ve got a hacked Xbox1 with Snes and Genesis emulators on.

I kinda look back with rose tinted glasses - when you actually play them again its never the same.
