Isl Acad was jumping last time and I predict a similar bop this time round… really cool new tunes, only thing I don’t like is the 10 min instrumental. Enjoy the struggle or exiles quickly becoming my faves.
Was thinking of going to Derry but things are looking a bit tense again over there for English bloke with army style crew cut. Maybe Dublin tho?????

defence of course, if todays session is anything to go by theres a lot of cappucino drinking and looking nervous in a waiting room not unlike a doctors one except with the added game of ‘guess the reason why the skinhead to the left of me is here’

Left home at 5:45 this morning, to work a full day then go to the gig. Knowing my luck I’ll miss the last train home too.
And now one of my mates can’t go, as he’s been called in to do night cover at his work (in Dover!!).
Fortunately I booked tomorrow off!

just got back from this. setlist was the same as glasgow i think (someone may be able to correct me on that). i had to miss the encore though as i had to get my train back, so that may have differed. high point was getting london to sing the “james joyce…” part to potato junkie. andy told someone off in the crowd for shouting “you fat bastard” one too many times. “if ye wanna watch skinny people onstage why don’t ye just feck off and watch pop idol ye cunt”. it was brilliant.
