Hi everyone, finally an update from me. Two things:

1. I made several updates to the site. Check out the front page for details. One of the things I did was adding a large image of the new Gimme Back My Brain cover art to the news page. Check it out!

2. I will be working with Therapy? and their manager to build a new official website! Cool, huh? I’ve been talking with Michael and the band’s manager about it and I’m currently making a functional design and wish-list for the new site.

This is where you come in! Since the site is there for us, the fans, I would love to hear your ideas/suggestions for the new official site. What should be added/changed and which parts of the site do you never use. All ideas, big or small, are welcome. Post them here, so we can have a discussion about it.

i think you should design the official site to have stuff the unofficial ones don’t have…

how about:
all their videos (i’m sure most people haven’t seen them all)…
or short commentary about each of their songs…
or have the official site drawn entirely in cartoons by martin…
or a tour diary where the band can update after each show how it went…
or i like the idea of live photos from fans…
or i like the eCard idea Pretender said…
or what about an interactive therapy? game like pac-man or something stupid like that, but with the gemil (or with the band themselves)…

ok, i can’t think of anymore. i’m sure whatever you do Rene it will be great!

(note: these ideas were just brainstormed in the past 2 minutes, so even i know some are not the greatest, but hey, that’s the whole point of brainstorming, right?)

As a web designer myself there is nothing like doing a proffessional job on your own sites to get yourself noticed.

Just to say seeing that you’re going to be running the two sites is this one going to lose any features or functions to the official site?

Oh and make sure you get some more rare (and live) mp3s on to the official site (with the Band’s permission). Those and the Wall of Mouths are the best areas of this site.

The best parts of any website are the ones that are being updated regularly.

To answer your questions:

- This site will not become the official site, and it will not be shut down. It will exist next to the official one. There will be some things on both, but there are things which will only be on my own site, ans some things which will only be on the official site.

- The Wall of Mouths will be on both sites, same back-end (database/scripts), different interface.

- I like your ideas like the e-cards, official pictures, pictures from fans and a tour diary and I will definitely consider them for the the official site! Also, thanks to whaley for the offer for the info about the video clips.
