Therapy? BBC Introducing radio session

#

Started by summer_of_hate

New Therapy? radio session tracks - including 2 brand new non-album songs:
Listen again here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/rorymcconnell/

48:00 - I Told You I Was Ill (with Andy’s intro)
1:20.05 - Don’t Try (with intro by Mike and Andy)
1:42.32 - Treaclefeet (with intro by Neil and Andy)

Use the slider thing on the bottom of the player to skip forward. Sound is annoyingly compressed on the first two songs - anyone record it live off the air?

I liked Don’t Try. Suffers from crappy sound though (perhaps just the way it’s been compressed?)

It’s a new song, written after the album was finished. At least that’s according to Michael’s diary.

I love the dubstep style sounds in treacle, and i can see what andy means about fugazi, that bass line really sounds like its out of a fugazi song.

It’s only available to the UK, Petri. I can’t listen to it either, although I am currently on a Belgian server here at work :-(

I’ll try it again when I get home and see if us southern Irish are deemed worthy enough to receive!

Well, I’m not sure but I’ve been unable to get BBC broadcasts on the net before and it’s usually because of the region. It’s probably the same in this case.

They posted a link this afternoon, which I could listen to, it seemed to be the wrong link though… no Therapy? and not one other song that was mentioned in the tracklisting.
It still doesn’t work here though..

don’t try … that intro riff is great. helmet-influence maybe again? cool song, i’d say i prefer this one over enjoy the struggle.
i told you i was ill … great. neil kills. this is going to be a live classic.
treacle feet … between dubstep and spacerock. the groove is cool. i prefer magic mountain on the album though.
