Therapy? in Metal Hammers Metal Detector.

metal hammer have done what Kerrang have done a couple of years back, by telling us their recommendations for most of their albums.

must have: Troublegum
also recommended: Nurse + High Anxiety
wild card: Infernal Love
fans only: Semi-detached
avoid: Suicide Pact You First.

i agree with all of it apart from the fans only choice, that i would have gone for Shameless :D

You said you’d put Shameless in the fans only bit, not the avoid bit :S
This is exactly why I don’t read mags like Kerrang! or Metal Hammer. Why don’t they just let people listen and decide for themselves, rather than dictating what they should and should not listen to?

fans only in my opinion :) not many therapy fans are into Shameless as much as allthe others, thats why i thought itwas gonna be ‘avoid’

It won’t be hard to “avoid” Suicide Pact since I have never seen it in a shop since the year it came out!

And c’mon, High Anxiety is a good listen: Who Knows?, Limbo, If It Kills Me, Nobody Here But Us, Rust, Not In Any Name. It’s the heavy/poppy side of the band done with an extra blast of kick ass rhythm!

Just skip track 8 and it’s one of their best! ;-)

Metal hammer is the biggest fucking bollocks in the world, all they care about are shitty metalcore and norwegian bands who dress up as vikings, I find it more insulting that metal hammer have even mentioned therapy? in their shiity pages than anything they wrote.

They had given 8 to Suicide Pact back then ( Said something like “hard way to polished a common rock record, but you know, it’s Therapy all the way.) But ı fully understand the nature of the selections, to explain non fans, built a standard recipe for the others-but ı also remember at the very same section mighty Ginger chose his favorite Ramones record and chit7chat about it with great lines like ” İf ı could be in a band, that’s the band” - I wish they hire someone ( I don’t know, from Amen, Left Side Brain, The Answers…???) who link the band by the heart way to keep us (fans) happy, like Clowns Glore way happy…
