That’s the final straw, now I defo have to go to Download! Glad I hadn’t bought tickets and travel for the Islington show, now I can put that toward Download instead. Therapy? and a Nu-Metal revival all in one weekend, awesome! (Oh and Journey!!!!)

Not a Meshuggah fan then ? Dunno what they have been up to lately but definitely one of my favos in the True Human Design days.

I’ve only heard a bit by them - and what I’ve heard I’ve liked, I’d go and watch them if I was there, but I wouldn’t class them as a band that would sway me into getting tickets

Agreed - I went to Download the year T? last played and headlined the snickers or napster stage on the Sunday night and have to say I wasn’t impressed with the festival at all.

I used to think that if bands played Download they couldn’t do Reading/Leeds. That’s obviously not the case, cf. Prodigy and now Faith No More - that is such good news as I have little chance of getting up to Download. So despite T? being announced for Download, I’m really really hoping for them to be at Reading (as every year)…

The rumour is they will headline the Radio 1 stage tent.
I saw the dates on FNM.com yesterday - There is also news circulating that Reading / Leeds are to make an announcement regarding additional bands soon.

no, they came back from the dead! well, ive read all the negative posts above and i have to say i think this years bill looks varied, as if the promoters/bookers actually give 2 shits about catering for everybody - you dont get that with reading and leeds. I used to love that fest the most but its all been radio 1 bands and they’re wanker fans invading it for the last 4-5 years now.
Arctic fucking monkeys, radiohead and kings of leon - how predictable - and how shit!

The Leeds lineupe is abysmal - the only thing it has going for it is that its reasonably local (1hrs drive).
But as Sunday day tickets have gone (i’ve just checked) it can go and fuck itself
