Just wanted to know if anyone else thinks the same way I do.
Misery & Disgracelands acoustic versions sound so much better than the album versions.
yes? no? maybe? I don’t know?

you’re absolutely right. those two acoustic versions are absolutely amazing! some of my friends have become regular T?-listeners since they heard those two songs for the first time.

i also like the acoustic version of ‘loose’ but that’s a great track anyway.

what do you think about the a.v. of ‘opal mantra’? quite a difference to the original version, isn’t it?

My favorite of that cd is a song they called the ‘mustache song’ I hope to hear that one live again some day.

I don’t let my mom listen to the acoustic stuff because it is simply too soft for her…she is a , Rocking Machine, but I prefer Disgracelands acoustic above the original as well(don’t tell my mom)…which brings me to something I was wondering about: Will T? put some acoustic versions of original songs on B-sides for singles…I hope so!

I thought the acoustic version of Jude the Obscene was really good. And the Opal Mantra was really well put together. But i believe the best B side was the Lunacy Booth Strings Version on the Isolation CD. Brilliantly arranged … darky and seething, excellent.

Wasn’t someone here going to send me a copy of the Crossing Borders CD? Jude the Obscene is the best—I find Screamager to be a little whiny. The rest all fall in the middle somewhere, but are still enjoyable.

Yes, the way Andy sings on the scremager version is not so great. I haven’t heard all of the acoustic songs yet, but I like Disgracelands a lot.

the acoustic version of opal mantra is by far my favourite… but i don’t think any of the acoustic tracks are actually better then the original…

but as far as the new recordings go, diane is way better then the original… and the rest are killer as well…
