This is great news! Last year was good at Jurassicrock. Or Kurassicrock as everyone seems to call it (kura = mud). It rained so much that at saturday while Eläkeläiset was on stage people was standing in the mud nearly to the knees… ;o) It’s good to see Therapy? first time in 4 years, though a club gig would have been better and we would heard more than two songs from Crooked Timber.

Oh crap. Well, a good kind of “Oh crap” :)

I’m heading out to Sziget on the Tuesday after Jurassic Rock, so apparently it’s going to be maaany festival days pretty much in row. I am still hoping for a Tavastia gig while the guys are here, though!

Now Therapy? is there on the bill so I wasn´t foolin, if someone thought that;) It was about time: the last gig here was in 2004 at the Ruisrock festival in Turku. I can tell that me and my wife are not the only ones who are waiting them to come to our land of (almost:)) thousand lakes!

Any idea if they are playing on Friday or Saturday? I’m supposed to be at work on Friday, so I might have to make some moves if that’s the day T? is playing.

Looks like you won’t be needing sickleave. Therapy? plays last act and it has turned to saturday… Their start time is 01:00 and they will stop at 02:15.

Hopefully the festival-busses won’t be a disaster like last year… Last year I didn’t saw a single bus on the start or at the endpoint.

@Marko: you “scared me”, I 1st thought from your reply that the date for T? has totally been changed for Sat, in that case we would have missed that Pellava Rock http://www.pellavarock.fi/ totally cause T? is the no1 priority in this family (for sum reason;)) @ Mikehell: the band from Ireland that plays there is called Primordial, didn´t remember the name back in RFP (for sum reason;))
Yeah, see U in dafrontrow and remember to “make sum f****n noise” out there!!!

No, no, no, no, no I didn’t meant change of the date but if you think hard, Therapy? will be on stage at saturday since friday has turned into saturday at midnight and their playing time is from 01:00 to 02:15… I guess that we won’t be seeing the lads after the gig as it’s so late. Or early, depends on the view you are looking… ;o)

I think we will be at Pellavarock too, as I really want to see Primordial. I listened to the songs on their myspace and really liked them.

I will be there tomorrow too. Haven’t seen them since Nummirock something like ten years ago. This time I’m planning to be sober so
I get more memories of it. :)

Scared to hear about the bus traffic not working there though. Should I just drive to the festival area directly? I was planning to park in
Mikkeli and take the festival bus from there…

Last year there was only one(!) bus take care the traffic but this year should be severals.

If you park your car into festival area that will cost 10€

I think the walking from town to Visulahti will take about 0,5-1 hours, depending how drunk you are :-)
I’m sure that bus-traffic will work this year much better than last year.

…I´m not going to walk now, not planning to do it:D just remembered how it was twenty years ago…and yes, I walked from the liquirstore on a sunny friday afternoon to the festival with local punks, aaah those golden memories;) The festival was then a three days marathon from fri-sun with bands like D.A.D., New Model Army, JMKE, Luonteri Surf…and if I´m right after that year the local police didn´t give the organizers permission to build the festival there again under the Dinosaur Rock name and not at all cause the festival caused so much harm to the local police and other sources…

Fucking great gig!

Band was in jolly good mood and there was a lot more crowd than I would expect to be at 01:00. Andy did his impression of Micheal Flatley’s Riverdance, he called himself “Michael Fatley”. It was nice that he also noticed two guys in gasmasks… ;o) Setlist was great, Fantasy Bag was surprise, as they weren’t supposed to play it, Thanks Therapy?!!!!!

Great to see so many people from here: Pete & Kati, Pogue Mahone, Finnish Fiend, Simo, an-ssi. and everyone else I forgot! Let’s do this again sometime.
