How long have the gigs been lasting? I have tix for Liverpool on the Sunday and Mancheser on the Monday, guessing they are on stage 9 in Liverpool and 9.30 in Manc, are curfew times generally the same or vary by venue?

Cheers guess that explains coming on half an hour earlier in Liverpool on Sunday, thought I would only be seeing them for an hour in Manc to start off with. I have never bore witness to a short set by T? or anyone to be honest, not my music but I was told by friends who watched Macy Gray at the apollo a few years ago that they paid quite a high price for tickets for a set that lasted 40 minutes

i think the shows have been about an hour and 20 maybe a bit longer, the time off stage between the encore and main set seems to be quite short though.

Firstly, I am very jealous that you are going to Liverpool and Manc. Sadly, I can only get to Manc. My advice would be to get there early because they are playing in Club Academy which is very very very tiny so if you want to stand anywhere near the front you need to get in quick. I shouldn’t be telling you this because I want to be right at the front…but I’m nice like that. Upside of Club Academy is you have a view from wherever you stand…including the bar! They will be on at 9.30 after Ricky Warwick and whoever else is on.

They’re playing Club Academy??? I thought it’d be the Hop & Grape.

Saw Idlewild Saturday before last in Club and they even thought they were playing in the MDH until they got there! Strange times at the Academy!

I think it was originally in the H&G but my ticket arrived and it says Club! My friend and I are speculating over how long it’ll take before the stage gets swamped. It’s certainly too small a venue for the mighty T? but at least it’ll be nice and cosy on a cold autumn evening…
…was going to go to Rockworld for the new(ish) Monday night afterward but can’t convince my boyfriend (who will be driving and, therefore, not drinking)

Will there be enough room on stage at Manchester for that Brian Johnson-meets-Harry H Corbett lookalike guitar tech of Andy’s?!

I am sure the man does a fine job, but why did he have to be onstage throughout the entire Wolves gig? Bit distracting.

He was probably more put out that he was trying to get on with his job in peace when a room full of folk turned up to watch!

Is Club Academy in the same venue as the hop and grape, is it level 2 on the curly stairs? I lose track of all the names changes… Main Debating Hall, H&G, Cclub Academy…, nearly there cannae wait, I know my ears will have imploded when I am in work on Monday following Liverpool, then lets do it all again on Monday night. First saw T? at Donny in 94 and still get excited about watching them 15 years later, love them live.

No Club Academy is at the bottom - on the ground level you have the ticket office and the bar - well its under that - I think you go round the back to get to it.

To get to Club Academy just go in the regular doors (no need to go round the back) but just before you get to the bogs and the stairs (just past the ticket office) you make a right and follow the corridor around. It leads you underground and there you have it!

At the recent Wildhearts gig, I got there bang on opening time and was at the barrier, there was noone down there until the second support band was on, so you might get the same with Therapy?

That was a smallish venue last night in Liverpool, I wasa expecting the O2 academy where I watched Testament, but it was the smaller venue. Good venue but band too far away from stage for my liking nand couldn’t interact as much as they normally do
