So the gig at Club Revolution in Peterborough on Monday night! Met M & A beforehand and just said hello, rather than pester them like i did last time i met them! They were very cool and genuinely thrilled to get to play for 1 1/2 hours (although they played for about 2!)
Wasn’t impressed with Ricky Warwick’s set but he’s a legend so I’ll give him points for being a road dog and doing covers of Iron Maiden’s Running Free and Ace Of Spades!
T? set:
Turn
Punishment kiss
teethgrinder
rain hits concrete
i told you i was ill
enjoy the struggle
clowns galore
opel mantra
isolation
stories
bad excuse for daylight
exiles
nausea
trigger inside
innocent x
Die like a MF
Rust
crooked timber
die laughing
knives
potato junkie
screamager
nowhere
* Our set even included 2 ‘bonus’ songs cos Michaels bass rig went down so Andy and neil played Diane on their own then when Mike was set up again they did Trigger Inside before Crooked timber. Tiny club but packed and people went mental from Teethgrinder all the way to the end!
Highlights - us lot taking the mic to sing Knives (after the tit who got up on stage couldn’t!) and Andy stage diving!
Extra Kudos points to Hot Steve for the setlist and moshing from the stage!
Were any other woms there? From the way people reacted to the songs, it seemed there were a few die hard fans there so if you’re a Wom get in touch!
