What’s the sense of Opal Mantra lyrics

Reading again the Opal Manta lyrics I was wondering wether there is a hidden sense or any puns alike indeed. Does anyone can shortly explain me what it talks about ?

Women are evil! Also Andy once said it’s about chick who loves cars-opelmantra-for my perspective; it’s a meditation about anger, agony and social statues that suffer by the politically correct majority opinions. It’s about war between genders. İn the other hand, it’s a part of hollow triology with Evil Elvis and Femtex.

“…and you know what i’m talking about.”

Songmeanings.net is a good site to waste some time on if you’re bored… I think the guy who commented on Opal Mantra there got it spot on really

The comment is spot on. I think Andy said the lyrics were about a female friend of his that kept fucking up and taking everyone who cared about her for granted, so he stopped talking to her and never spoke to her again.

Basically the song is saying that you can only do so much to help someone before they start using you for their own advantage.

Hi there !

You’ll find it on both Born in a crash and Hats off to the insane - if you consider them as full mini albums.

At some concert found on a bootleg (the name of which escapes me currently), Andy introduces it as a “fucked up love song”.

But is that a fucked up song about love, or a song about fucked up love? ;-)

Omg the same thing happened to me! Of course you always try to understand song lyrics from your own experience, but if you hear other people already saying it… maybe we’ve just all been through a load of crap :-)
