You could admit that NZ often used to pull italian t-shirt and elbow hits. Personnally, I rated those both teams at the same although each one has played with its own different way to play than the other. That’s been playing. Although NZ played in defencive, Italia keeped playing their own style.

All the diving and feigning injury in this tournament is putting me off football altogether. In Canada the world cup is on TV and gets talked about, but in a country that usually isn’t that interested in football, watching all the cheating predominating this world cup is more likely to put them off it altogether rather than win them over. Shame really.

It’d be nice if South Africa get through, but a long way to go yet.

@lola : Yes, I am. That is what I said and what the most of French are saying. Medias just started to mention it. But you know when we were 98 world champions, some of 98 team players already told about that. You have to know that in France footbal is a popular sport that anybody can play with anybody else no matter wherever they come from. Year after year there has had a lot of troubles like racket or violence from a “special” kind of people living in our suburb. Often around towns in here, there are suburds where working class people live there with now the mix of cultures. It’s very difficult because… we have to admit that there are ethnic backgrounds that want to be in a continuous riot state. Those people make a real pleasure to disrespect our national anthelm and our country all year long.This is what the French team is made up now. Fortunaltely it’s over since the afternoon .. sigh. You know, here in France you better don’t mention a cloud of that behaviour ; there is a censorship about that. But people in here are fed up. It seems that Gorcuff has been fighting against Ribery (but sure, he’s never alone) and maybe other (black) players. In adition, the leaders of French team earn about in between 500 000 and 800 000 € a month. They really don’t care of our colours.
History is just a pretext to make a mess in streets.

@Evilbeast : Mmmmh I’m just half agree. Of course money they earn influences their behaviour but France 98 team earn as much money as 2010 team. Although the both 98 and 2006 teams are so educated. Have you ever heard Dugarry, Lizarazu, LeBoeuf or Blanc speaking ? Even Vikash Doraso when he gives his analyses ? No sinceraly 2010 team really gets THE fucking bad way of being of where the most of them all come from … Paris suburbs. And you know what I mean, we already talked of that. Thierry Henry, Patrice Evra told that they are going to explain them. Eric Abidal will explain about he said he didn’t want to play as a cheater !!! What has he meant ? What do you do about the Ribery’s slap at Yohann Gourcuff inside the cloakroom ? Without count with how the mafia French Football Federation is ? Ok ! let’s wait and see !

“all over the world”…,But at my turn I disagree…But look at the example of Cristiano,who I don’t really keen on, I know out of the pitches, he seems that he likes to live it up and show up,earns a lot of money …But as he’s trying his best on games to justify his reputation of one the best players of the world and gives “more blood” than Ribery,Henry and Anelka can do when they play for the national french team…Zinedine Zidane before the big buissness buzz comes around him these days,during his youth didn’t behave like a chav or prick like Benzema or Ben Arfa do right now because he seems in addition to his talents ,to have a good education…When I said ” The faster you get money lazier you’ve become” I could add ” The less effort I can do , the best it is” it’s about the young generation of footballers in France,that’s not only in Sport in our country…you’re as blind as Domenech and Escalettes :P if you don’t see it…that’s not because we won a world cup and a european championship in a row that we reached the suprem level forever…Sport in high competition is permanent questionning and challenging…In the other countries,even though they know some bad times ( Germany,Italy,England…) they ‘ve understood that for a long time…Myself, I spend more fun times by watching Premier league,Liga,Calcio games than Ligue 1 ones…And the fact that the clubs over there are richer than the french ones can’t be the only explanations…

Ah “Titi” requested an interview with “Sarko”…Not only he can play football with hands ,but he also can play ” the stoolie” …Definitely,this guy has “the Class”…Replace the Fed Prez’ and the coach ( already done) and things will be better…Football is very popular in France,but there’s a bad management from the Federation and its structure to improve it…What a waste…

I’m glad they went out, for the way they played against New Zealand.

Although you were right about them being boring (at least until the last 15 minutes of their last game).

At least they went out in style and gave us all a good laugh. Makes little difference, as I can’t see either Germany or England beating Argentina in the next round, neither team is very good. Would’ve been nice to get one over on the Germans, but England never had a chance this time round anyway - by far the weakest squad they’ve had in my life time.
