Don’t throw it away, I’m sure I could use it to get rid of the teenagers who hang around outside the shops.

i saw bush live in 2000 at the Cambridge Corn Exchange. They were ok considering i only knew 2 songs! Gavin Rossdale took his top off and climbed over the balconies which was pretty cool. They were supporrted by Cyclefly (C’mon - someone must remember them??!) and I met my bass hero at the time (Janne Jarvis from a band called Radiator). So it was a memorable night for that.
Didn’t Dave Grohl once wear a t-shirt that read Bu$h? Basically saying that Bush were a cash in rip off of Nirvana? lol.

I remember Cyclefly. I have their album. The chap had what can only be described as a ‘unique’ voice.

Yes I remember now…the helium voice and red dreads! hmmmmm.
So are Bush making a new album etc or just cashing in by touring?

I quite like it. It is a bit more produced and poppy than Bush usually were, sounds much more like a Rossdale solo song really. But I’m hoping, since he went to the trouble of reforming the band and this is under the Bush name it will have some heavier stuff on there too, and some stuff using that stop-start style they did so well. I’ll definitely be buying it anyway, so I’ll find out in October :-)

I’m quite excited! I’ve seen them live. I think it was at Reading in 97. Not a major fan at the time but they’re one of those bands you come back to years later and think that it really captured the 90s! Roll on student-day-nostalgia!!!!!!
