Seems to be so, but only at big (ish) venues i would think, Mogwai at Brixton Academy just cost £25, Afro Celt Sound Sound System at the Barbican is somewhere between £25 - £30 and i think Skunk Annansie also at Brixton is £25, just seems to be the way it is now, having said that i’ve seen several excellent bands for under a £5 recently. Would be interested to know if tickets are as much for similar gigs in other cities, might have to check it out.

Can someone confirm this will be another Troublegum gig, like someone mentioned in the “oh dear, how to lose / not gain fans” thread?

I’m tempted.. anyone travelling down from the North West? It’s gonna cost me nearly £50 on the train alone, and then I’ve got to add in expenses, ticket prices, hotel accommodation. And a wedding the following week

2350 maximum capacity, that’s pretty fuckin huge, seeing as my ticket just cost me £28 that’s £65K at sell out, somebody’s doing all right even after all the overheads.

how much is the travelodge. if i can get a room for less than 40 or so and a train for less than 30 return count me in, when i get the money ill check train times as sometimes to somewhere like london its very cheap to get an early morning train back, this would also save on a hotel as i’d happily sleep in the quiet carrige of the first great western train, and good thing is if i miss my stop it terminates at the next one anyway.
