Hello! My name is Dan. I live in Knoxville, Tennessee. I’ve been a fan of the band Therapy? since, oh, about…1999, 2000…somewhere in there. My favorite Therapy? songs include: “Animal Bones”, “Heaven’s Gate”, Disgracelands”, :Skyward”, “Auto Surgery”, “Bad Mother” and “Stop it, You’re Killing Me”. I was raised in Colorado (US) and Germany. Spinach is awesome, so is sushi. My favorite beer is Warsteiner and Stella Artois. Vodka makes me want to play sports like tennis and volleyball while listening to Melvins albums. I’m a cat person. My favorite pizza toppings include mushroom and green peppers. Long walks on the beach. Pretty random fellow, I am. Pac Man gobbles narcotics and blue ghosts. I am not an octopus. :D

Thanka mrs h and man-fish! And yeah, I think Auto Surgery was the first Therapy? song I’ve ever heard, come to think of it. When I was like 14, my friend had the Sega CD… There was this motorcycle game called Road Rash that we would play and the soundtrack consisted of bands like Hammerbox, Soundgarden, Therapy?, Monster Magnet and others. So this was around like ‘95 I think. I found the EP Hats Off to the Insane in Germany in some discount bin a few years later. I was so excited to find that song on it. :) I remember wondering why Auto Surgery wasn’t on Nurse or Troublegum.

Oh dear. Don’t say it too loud or They will pounce.

I remember the first time I heard Screamager, my friend went “WEEEEOUUUAAHHHHWWAAAAHHH” all the way through it. I bought Troublegum the next day just so I could hear the damn song properly.

Road Rash was a great game. It introduced me to Soundgarden, but none of their other songs ever lived up to the brilliance of Kickstand, so I never really got into them. Which T? song was on Road Rash then, was it Auto Surgery? I don’t really remember T? being on there at all - but that was before I got into T?

It had Auto Surgery and Teethgrinder. I think that was it.

The game was stoopid and only had music in the menus, not the races. Son of a bitch.

Ah, thanks. I’m surprised I didn’t pay more attention to those at the time - I generally just liked listening to Kickstand though!

My copy of RoadRash (but i think it’s RR2 actually which may explain this) for the mega drive (genesis in the US) has a very synth soundtrack, 8 bit classic computer game music really, what format was your’s on then Sean?

There was an enhanced remake for the PS1, 3DO, Mega-CD and all that.

I’ve got Road Rash 3 for the Mega Drive, it’s pretty great.

The 4th one wasn’t too bad actually, despite being 3D. And I heard they were making a 5th one and going back to the 2D hand-drawn style of the first two, but obviously higher res graphics. I hope that’s true :-)

That’s really what I love about those games. There was some absolutely stunning hand-drawn stuff around.

It does seem that people are demanding that more now, which is good!

Yeah, they look so much better than the 3D ones. Even though the graphics are low resolution on the first 2 Broken Sword games they still look better than most modern point and clickers. I loved Broken Sword right from the introduction sequence, it just looked so great.

I quite fancy the look of the DS remake, although I’m not so sure about lack of voices. The acting really makes it for me, and was about the only thing that saved the third one.
