Started by Citizen Erased (confused again) in Other Bands & Artists

Anyone else listened to this? It probably my favourite record of the year so far - it’s a bit soppy in places (like all JEW albums), a bit college rock in places (like all JEW albums) and a bit like Feeder circa 1999 in places, but overall really good. Wondered what the rest of you thought of it. Really looking forward to seeing them next month.

It’s the most organic JEW record. Now, i don’t have anything against Gil Norton and Butch Vig but Trombino really knows the JEW’s language. You can feel the layers, feeling and ideas. I can’t tell it’s better than “Chase This Light” (strangely i heart that LP) or “Futures”. Time will tell. But it’s solid comeback from one of my favorite band.

I love everything they’ve done personally since that album so… I’m gonna enjoy listening to this for a while me thinks.

I don’t know why many people didn’t rate “Chase this light” I think its better than “Bleed American” :)

Finally got Static Prevails this morning so haven’t played it yet. Really liked Chase This Light too though, never worked out why it wasn’t more popular either
