Saw this on another forum and it gets quite a good response with some interesting talking points.

Put down 10 random facts about yourself…

Mine are:-

1. I absolutely loathe brussels sprouts… They truly are “Balls of Satan’s phlegm”
2. I have a Polish surname because my Mum changed it when she got remarried when i was around 6
3. I once gave Johnny Vegas a lift after a gig and went for a pint with him
4. I have never broken any bones in my body
5. I was tenuously related to Angus Young from AC/DC, through my Dads sister, who was Married to his cousin - they’re divorced now :-(
6. I’ve never had a passport - Not been abroad since i was 15 and was I just on my Mums passport then
7. My first car was an old VW Jetta
8. I’ve never won any more than a tenner on the lottery
9. My Dad is married to a Filipino woman who is younger than me - Apparently… We haven’t spoke in a long time
10 . I’m not on Facebook

Not on facebook , msn or this twitter machine everyone is on about. Also user of a very old mobile phone that just calls and texts and nothing else.
When I tell people they look as if there’s something wrong with me.

@ Fiona - your number 5 is the same reason I’ve only ever drank buckfast once when I was about 16. Even the smell of it now reminds me of how shit I felt. Evil evil drink.

6 - I had my first drink at 18. I had my first hangover at 18 and 6 months. The misery hasn’t stopped since. Damn.
7 - For most of my life, to this very day, a lot of family & friends call me by my brother’s name (and even his nickname). Don’t ask me. Yes he’s still alive!
8 - Fish as a food is the devil’s revenge on earth. I can’t taste, smell, touch etc the stuff. Vodka too.
9 - Is my lucky number…
10 - I stood on a stage with Snow Patrol at an early gig where there were 11 paying punters. They invited us all up for a song. They were a proper rock band in those days.

That’s the best I can think of now with a bottle of Shiraz in me ;-)

I think the best gig experience I had was seeing Pearl Jam in the old Cathouse in Glasgow (capacity around 500or so) on 23/2/92 (The day before Ten was released over here)

Incidentally, it was a flyer I picked up at that gig advertising a T? Gig that got me round to listening to Therapy? Check the obvious spelling mistake!! :)
