Just seen that on Facebook, couldn’t believe it!

As you know, T? usually play Mandella Hall in Belfast… Ulster Hall is a good bit bigger is it not? And the gig isn’t *that* far away… plus there’s no new album out to promote or anything. Really wasn’t expecting this at all… was thinking there must be *some* sort of catch… but am *very* pleasantly surprised :-D

Mike, any hints on who the ‘very special guests’ may be?

And is there any news on a gig in North West England? Or England, or Scotland..?

Who’s headlinin? I take it it’s Therapy??

When Cormac from The Answer came on stage for guest vox at the Mandela Troublegum playback his appearance got an… ahem… “mixed” reception (to put it politely)!!

When was that Derm?

I imagine it’ll be The Answer on last tbh, depending on who the ‘very special guests’ are…

Cormac came on stage to do guest vox on Lunacy Booth - gat the clean fuck booed outta im leek.

This seems like a similarish set up to the time Funeral For A Friend co-headlined with T? for Bruce Dickinson in the Mandela back in 2004ish. I didn’t think it worked too well. But we shall see - don’t want to be negative.

I wonder who the “very special guests” are? I suppose they must be another n Irish rock band. So it’s gonna be one of:

Stiff Little Fingers
Undertones
Ash

Right?

hmm.. Ash aren’t a band I thought of instantly. SLF or Undertones I’d say maybe. Leaning (hoping) towards SLF

Ticket arrived today. I’m thinkin that the “special guests” will actually be randoms wheeled out at various stages for guest vox / guest guitar etc rather than an actual third band. That’d be good cos it would mean more therapy? stage time. Just hope they’re on last :-)

I don’t recall the date!! But I do remember reading something somewhere that cormac from “the answer” got booed off when he joined “therapy” on stage for “lunacy booth” I believe it was. Does anyone know if this is fact?? If so I trully hope this show goes smoothly. Both the answer and therapy rock

Thunderstruck: must have been during the Therapy? Troublegum show at the Mandella Hall

(listed as Friday, Oct 15th 2010 on the tour page (I cannot believe it was over a year ago. Time really does start to speed up as you get older!) Mandela Hall (Special “Troublegum”+more show!) - Belfast, Norn Iron.)

Although I was there and didn’t hear any booing…

CS: not sure if you’ve seen LaFaro, but (dare I say it) they will give both bands a run for their money although I still maintain they were better before Herb left…

Yeah, there definitely was a lot of booing, to the point where Cormac gave the crowd two fingers when walkin aff.

Andy made reference to it later in the set as well sayin somethin like “are yiz gonna start booin me now?”

Answer are definitely on last at this thing by the way
