Wonder if The Buzzing is in reference to a certain good friend of the band.
And I feel a bit sorry for the bloke on the cover , looks more like a brief crack of shite he’s in. :)

It’ll be a sad day when I don’t have a T? album to look forward too, really excited to hear how their sound will have evolved. Not convinced by the artwork at the mo, but we’ll see.

This.
Not sure on the artwork myself - but artwork is at the bottom of my list of things to care about

I think it’s a pretty interesting picture, but I prefer funkier designs to photos, usually. Can’t wait to hear the album though :-)

well, my favourite T? covers are troublegum and SP:YF so i guess it’s no surprise that i really like this one too.
i was very disappointed with the crooked timber cover initially, although i have to say it grew on me a lot, but if this album is half as good as CT then i can’t wait to hear it! i wouldn’t have chosen LITSOATT as the opener (not that i’ve anything to compare it to), but can’t wait to be proven wrong in feb!!!
slightly off topic maybe, but (today) my list of studio album covers (fav at top) are:
1. Troublegum
2. ABCOL
3. SP:YF
4. NANE
5. High Anxiety
6. OCFA
7. Nurse
8. IL
9. Semi-Detached
10. Babyteeth
11. Crooked Timber
12. Shameless
13. Pleasuredeath
with CP, BIAC, HOTTI, MTACT and WHTTE all being brilliant covers (i would place all of them above OCFA) in my opinion

That reminds me: Andy Cairns has a quote in the new Manics National Treasures album talking about one of their singles. Can’t remember which one now but its at the top of the manics myspace page : )

It actually is, I think.
Nigel Rolfe is the guy on the Troublegum sleeve (covered in paint & sawdust) and SP-YF sleeve (with the 4 masks), so I guess he’s put himself there again!

Fab news on the vinyl front. Now if they could just issue 12” vinyls of all the albums from Semi-Detached through to One Cure…
The Wildhearts had finished six tracks left over after the release of their last album, and put them out about 8-10months later as a mini-album, which was ace. Maybe T? could do the same thing? Sadly the Wildhearts one didn’t get any sort of marketing push, but maybe a T? one would be more successful. Not to overshadow ABCOL, which I can’t wait for, but we want to make sure we hear ALL the tracks they’ve recorded, right?

Um, they scratch easy, are cumbersome and you need something archaic to play them on? I honestly can’t remember the last time I even played a CD rather than ripping it straight to itunes.
Quite happy for the band to make a few more beans though :-)
